Millwall 0-0 Middlesbrough
After a slow start, Boro playing with confidence.
Millwall just showing glimpses of their threat, almost getting Ben Thompson in on the edge of the box but Stojanovic for the Teessiders is at his best.
Drinks break time.
Millwall 0-0 Middlesbrough
Dael Fry just centimetres away from connecting with a threatening cross from the right by Paddy McNair as Boro again press the home defence.
Plenty of pitchside chatter as a soundtrack.
Djed Spence surges into the box for Boro and is dragged down... no penalty says Tim Robinson and Murray Wallace just trots away.
Millwall 0-0 Middlesbrough
Dangerous break by Boro saw Paddy McNair strain to get to the ball over the top and managed to get a ball fizzed across before it bobbled over the byline.
From the resulting throw-in by Ryan Shotton, Jake Cooper conceded a corner, and Millwall were again in the right place to get rid.
Middlesbrough growing in confidence.
Millwall 0-0 Middlesbrough
Ben Thompson has looked lively for the home side, popping up all over the Boro half in threatening situations.
He toppled a moment ago down in the penalty area but referee Tim Robinson was having none of it
Millwall 0-0 Middlesbrough
Long punt forward toward Britt Asssombalonga fouled and Boro got a free-kick about 40 yards out.
It was curled into the mixer by Marvin Johnson but Ashley Fletcher could only ping the ball high off his head and out of play.
Millwall 0-0 Middlesbrough
You can see Neil Warnock's influence on the Middlesbrough side from a defensive point of view, they look well drilled and in good shape.
Millwall were poised on the edge of the box for a fair few phases there, but just couldn't find space.
In the end, Murray Wallace swung the ball in but it was a simple claim for the Boro keeper Stojanovic.
Millwall 0-0 Middlesbrough
Free header for Matt Smith, the big man at the head of the Millwall attack, but he can't keep it down and it soars over Dejan Stojanovic's crossbar.
He'll be a real nuisance for Boro, as he often is with his size and presence.
Millwall 0-0 Middlesbrough
Another heave toward the box from Ryan Shotton has Millwall necks craning, and little Ryan Woods does enough to nod the ball away.
The home side push forward on the back of that defensive effort, Ben Thompson takes the ball and runs at the Boro backline, as he works it onto his right foot his shot deflects behind.
Corner.
Millwall 0-0 Middlesbrough
Marvin Johnson sent in a corking cross for Middlesbrough but there was no able to attack it.
Ashley Fletcher was involved in the build-up, drifting wide to stretch the defence. His and Britt Assombalonga's job will be to run the channels today by the looks of it.
Millwall 0-0 Middlesbrough
George Friend also has a decent throw-in and tosses a ball into the Millwall box but Middlesbrough are crowded out nicely.
One man I'm sure who's delighted there are no fans today is Boro's George Saville. He would have been roundly booed, being ex-Millwall of course.
Millwall 0-0 Middlesbrough
Millwall press forward through Jed Wallace - the Lions' fulcrum in midfielder - and he drives into Boro territory before slipping the ball wide to Mahlon Romeo.
His cross deflects behind but Boro again are capable of coping with the set-piece and clear.
Millwall 0-0 Middlesbrough
One sideshow to this afternoon's entertainment could be the long throws of Jake Cooper and his Boro counterpart Ryan Shotton. Both have monster throws. Think Rory Delap or Dave Challinor.
Millwall again get in down the left, Murray Wallace swings in a tempting delivery but Boro watch it to safety.
The visitors are looking to Britt Assombalonga's movement to create their opportunities, but he's been well-shackled so far.
Millwall 0-0 Middlesbrough
Millwall made headway down the left, freeing Ben Thompson down by the byline left-side but his cross is blocked at the expense of a corner.
The resulting set-piece swings in but it's easily cleared at the near-post.
Millwall 0-0 Middlesbrough
Middlesbrough's first act was to concede a throw-in, having kicked off.
I do hope that's not setting the tone.
Millwall 0-0 Middlesbrough
Tim Robinson is our referee.
Middlesbrough get us under way.
There's a nice NHS tribute in the stands.
Millwall v Middlesbrough (15:00 BST)
Middlesbrough players have headed out from their section of the stadium, ready for action.
Now Millwall follow out of the traditional tunnel.
No roar. No 'Let 'Em Come' yet either...
Pitch looks in good nick. But this doesn't feel real. This isn't a football time of the week?!
Millwall v Middlesbrough (15:00 BST)
One thing I really remember from the first time I visited the Den was the song the club plays as the players emerge from the tunnel.
It's the greatest club song I've ever heard. You can find it on YouTube if you're inclined.
'Let 'Em Come' is a jauntily upbeat song, yet it's played out in one of the most inhospitable arenas (for away teams) in football.
The final refrain normally coincides with a load of Millwall fans in the nearest stands aggressively roaring it to the away supporters with outstretched arms. Brilliant.
Millwall v Middlesbrough (15:00 BST)
The Den will feel particularly different today given the lack of a crowd, but the club has tried to create some kind of atmosphere with the cardboard cut-outs.
This pooch has donned their colours for today's game, Millwall's top dog perhaps?
Millwall v Middlesbrough (15:00 BST)
Middlesbrough have lost their past two - against Hull and QPR - after making a flying start to life under Neil Warnock with the win against Stoke.
So, there are probably better places to have to come and get a result than the Den, where normally Millwall create an intimidating atmosphere.
However, might no fans in the ground be a leveller?
"I don't think there's any advantage now home or away and the results at the moment show that," Warnock told BBC Radio Tees.
"They'll miss that but we would have taken loads down there as well. We know what it is and we've got to be ready for it."
