West Brom v Derby (17:00 BST)

Here's the all-important team news for the match in the West Midlands, which'll be kicking off in just a few moments.

Slaven Bilic's West Brom make four changes. Ahmed Hegazi is suspended and Kieran Gibbs went off injured in Sunday's 4-2 win over Hull, so Semi Ajayi and Conor Townsend come in to the defence. In midfield, Rekeem Harper and Filip Krovinovic drop to the bench, as Jake Livermore and Grady Diangana start instead.

West Brom XI: Johnstone, O'Shea, Bartley, Ajayi, Townsend, Livermore, Sawyers, Pereira, Grosicki, Diangana, Austin.

The visitors Derby make just one change and it comes in midfield, with Graeme Shinnie replacing Jason Knight, who is on the bench.

Derby XI: Hamer, Bogle, Evans, Clarke, Forsyth, Shinnie, Bird, Holmes, Rooney, Sibley, Martin.

    Millwall 0-2 Middlesbrough

Millwall advancing down the right with successive throw-ins.

Jed Wallace muscled off the ball and Boro swipe it out of play.

Again the Lions come forward. Middlesbrough nick it and hold it in the corner.

Big result this for their survival hopes.

    Millwall 0-2 Middlesbrough

There will be plenty of chat from Millwall's side about the decision not to award a free-kick during the build-up to the first goal. Might have changed the game.

Middlesbrough won't care. This has been a thoroughly professional job. They've come, worked hard, got the points. Smash and grab from Neil Warnock's men.

Millwall still huffing and puffing but it's in vain barring a miracle.

    Five extra minutes.

  5. Pressure on both sides at The Hawthornspublished at 16:55 British Summer Time 8 July 2020

West Brom v Derby (17:00 BST)

Coming up at 17:00 BST is a game that feels like a pivotal one for both West Brom and Derby.

A win for the Baggies would send them go top (Leeds play tomorrow) and five points clear of third-placed Brentford, ahead of the final four rounds of games. But a defeat would leave them only two points above the Bees, who are in fine form. Squeaky bum time.

As for seventh-placed Derby, victory would seem them climb level on points with sixth-placed Cardiff, who they will meet in just six days' time. If the Rams lose in the West Midlands, they could drop as low as 10th by the end of tonight's games, depending on other results.

    The pressure is well-and-truly on.

    Ashley Fletcher

Middlesbrough ensure three massive points will follow them up the A1 on their day trip to south east London as Ashley Fletcher tucks away a spot-kick.

He broke clear, was brought down in the box and despatched the pen.

Game over. And maybe Millwall's hopes of play-off football over too.

  7. PENALTYpublished at 85 mins

    Millwall 0-1 Middlesbrough

Middlesbrough's Ashley Fletcher was hauled down by Jake Cooper as he broke away...

    Cooper gets a yellow.

    Game over perhaps.

  8. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 83 mins

    Millwall 0-1 Middlesbrough

Billy Mitchell, who trended on Twitter for a bit last Friday because of his Eastenders namesake (the actor who's a Hammers fan to rub salt in the wound), is coming on for Millwall. He's a tidy little player.

Shane Ferguson as well it seems.

Boro make changes too, Adam Clayton and Anfernee Dijksteel come on.

  9. Postpublished at 81 mins

    Millwall 0-1 Middlesbrough

Disappointing set-piece from Gary Rowett's Millwall, as it spoons up and wide.

Middlesbrough are then opened up down the left by Connor Mahoney's pass to Jed Wallace, but his cross is put behind.

The resulting corner goes the way of the others. Middlesbrough clear.

  10. Postpublished at 79 mins

    Millwall 0-1 Middlesbrough

Millwall had just built some pressure when Boro snatched that goal and they need to find some of that intensity again.

Connor Mahoney is picked out on the left and tries to cross. Cleared. Millwall switch it to Mahlon Romeo on the right. Fouled.

  11. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 76 mins

    Millwall 0-1 Middlesbrough

Marcus Tavernier is on, goalscorer Britt Assombalonga off for Middlesbrough.

  12. Postpublished at 75 mins

    Millwall 0-1 Middlesbrough

Marcus Tavernier is just getting a pep-talk from Boro coach Leo Percovich as he prepares to come on for the visitors.

Middlesbrough are dug in like WW1 infantry at the moment, in the trenches as Millwall come forward, desperate to find some space.

There's a glimmer of a sight of goal... Jed Wallace half-volleys... it's wide.

  13. Postpublished at 73 mins

    Millwall 0-1 Middlesbrough

Referee Tim Robinson is stood well away from the two technical areas, unsurprisingly, as the teams take drinks breaks.

Boro were narked about the Djed Spence call before half-time, but Robinson might be back on their Christmas card list now.

  14. Postpublished at 71 mins

    Millwall 0-1 Middlesbrough

Fair to say Millwall are incensed.

Their players are responding positively to the goal though, as they surge forward, swinging the ball in from wide areas.

Jed Wallace had a go. Cleared. Mahlon Romeo tried. Cleared.

Millwall have to channel their energy this way rather than letting frustrations boil.

    Britt Assombalonga

Controversy at The Den as Middlesbrough score, but there looked to be a possible foul in the build-up.

Boro sent a ball down the right and, as Jake Cooper tried to usher the ball back, he was sent sprawling and Ashley Fletcher galloped into the empty space beyond.

Millwall seemed to be waiting for a referee call that never came and as Boro played on, Fletcher drew Bartosz Bialkowski and squared to the unmarked Britt Assombalonga to touch in.

  16. GREAT SAVE!published at 65 mins

    Millwall 0-0 Middlesbrough

Connor Mahoney almost having an immediate impact for Millwall as his curling cross is turned toward goal by Matt Smith, and has Dejan Stojanovic sprawling to save.

Then a few moments later, Mahoney picks up on a Mahlon Romeo cross and zips a shot at goal which Stojanovic has to save with his feet.

    Millwall perking up.

  17. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 61 mins

    Millwall 0-0 Middlesbrough

Highly-rated Brighton loanee Jayson Molumby replaces Shaun Williams for Millwall, who also replace Ben Thompson and Alex Pearce with Connor Mahoney and Tom Bradshaw.=

  18. Postpublished at 61 mins

    Millwall 0-0 Middlesbrough

Ben Thompson got down the Boro right for Millwall but didn't pull the trigger and was eventually forced into nudging the ball back for Ryan Woods.

There were a few teammates urging him to roast the full-back there but a safety-first approach won the day.

Less than 30 minutes remaining. Time for a tweak?

  19. Postpublished at 59 mins

    Millwall 0-0 Middlesbrough

Ben Thompson trying to get Millwall moving forward but rolls his pass out of play. Boro lose the ball to Jed Wallace but he too is jostled off the ball.

Mahlon Romeo goes down and then Ryan Woods is caught late. Millwall free-kick. Time to reset and take a quick breather.

    Matt SmithImage source, Rex Features

Just seen the value of Matt Smith to Millwall.

Shaun Williams drove through space in midfield before lofting a ball into Smith, whose cushioned knock-down was looking tasty before it was hooked over the top by Boro at the expense of a corner.

Then Jed Wallace swung a corner over to Jake Cooper, who like a pogoing punk got above his man but couldn't guide the header on target.
