    Luton 1-1 QPR

Luton are living dangerously as Pelly Ruddock almost puts it into his own net after keeper Simon Sluga drops the ball but to his credit Sluga does well to recover and claw the ball behind.

QPR are well on top now.

    Cardiff 2-1 Derby

Derby goalkeeper Kelle Roos collects a corner and leaves Cardiff defender and skipper Sean Morrison down on the deck. He drags himself back to his feet eventually.

    Sheff Wed 0-0 Huddersfield

Sheffield Wednesday have been enjoying a bit of field position, down in the Huddersfield end but not even Barry Bannan has been able to deliver the killer blow with the Terriers defence living up to their nickname as his shot sails over.

The drinks break is on. Maybe a tot of brandy each would liven this up?

  4. Postpublished at 21:15 British Summer Time 14 July 2020

    Millwall 1-0 Blackburn

The ball falls to Tom Bradshaw in the box, he shoots but it's well saved by Rovers keeper Christian Walton.

Good chance that but it is a good stop from Walton.

Cardiff occupy sixth spot at the moment, with Millwall only two points behind as it stands.

  8. goal

GOAL: Cardiff 2-1 Derbypublished at 21:03 British Summer Time 14 July 2020

    Lee Tomlin (58 mins)

Oh dear, oh dear for Wayne Rooney.

The former England international is Derby's midfield anchorman these days but was robbed of the ball by Lee Tomlin after taking a short pass from Matt Clarke.

Tomlin wasted no time in bearing down on the Derby goal and after creating the angle, drilled low across Kelle Roos to make it 2-1.

Big goal for the Bluebirds as they lead one of the sides chasing them down in the play-off picture.

    Luton 1-0 QPR

QPR have a good chance, the free-kick comes and Yoann Barbet heads towards goal but Luton keeper Simon Sluga is equal to it and pushes it away.

Three points for Luton here sees them move out of the relegation zone so a win is vital for the Hatters tonight.

The Cowley brothers, led of course by the main man Danny, had previously been on an upward trajectory in their careers, but the job they have inherited with Huddersfield is a very different task. They're still pretty upbeat.

Just a moment ago Karlan Grant brought down a clip over the top and fizzed a shot just wide of the Wednesday goal.

    Millwall 1-0 Blackburn

Good move from the home side as Jed Wallace beats the offside trap and drills a shot towards the near post but it's straight at Rovers keeper Christian Walton who makes a good save.

Rovers have just had a good chance too, Stewart Downing hits a deflected shot from 25 yards out but it's gone just over.

    Cardiff 1-1 Derby

Lee Tomlin puts a free-kick right into the mix after a silly foul by Max Lowe, and Cardiff hearts begin to pound but Sean Morrison bursting in at the back post is unable to nod it goalwards.

Derby then attack down the left, Louie Sibley streaking away and getting the ball in toward the frame of the goal but it's smothered by Alex Smithies.

  13. Postpublished at 20:54 British Summer Time 14 July 2020

    Cardiff 1-1 Derby

Derby goalscorer Jason Knight thrashes one over the top after Cardiff didn't quite clear the corner sufficiently.

Alex Smithies could watch it over, was also glad to see Curtis Davies fail to properly connect with a decent set-piece before it.

  14. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 20:53 British Summer Time 14 July 2020

    Luton 1-0 QPR

Luton already have the ball in the net, Dan Potts rises above everyone as a corner comes in and he heads it in but the goal is ruled out, he is adjudged to have comitted a push.

    FT: Wigan 8-0 Hull

    Hull boss Grant McCann:

"The first thing I'd like to do is apologise to the fans. That was nowhere near good enough from us today. It felt like every time Wigan went forward in the first half they were going to score.

"I don't blame them for a lack of effort. It's easy to say that when you lost 8-0. Tonight we were nowhere near it and Wigan were better than us. They were first to everything.

"The players know, it's black and white for everything, we have to beat Luton on Saturday to stay in this division."
