Jonas Lossl ensures the first-half ends in stalemate, palming away a goalbound effort by Sheffield Wednesday winger Kadeem Harris.

All square, both teams have had chances. Entertaining enough fare.

  2. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:34 British Summer Time 14 July 2020

    Cardiff 1-1 Derby

    Jason KnightImage source, PA Media

What an eventful first-half it was for Jason Knight, who levelled for Derby after his sloppy backpass teed up Junior Hoilett for the opener.

Both sides have had chances, Derby dominant in possession at times but Cardiff equally a threat, particularly through Lee Tomlin.

Points to be shared so far between these two promotion hopefuls in a 'six-pointer'.

  3. Postpublished at 20:33 British Summer Time 14 July 2020

    Cardiff 1-1 Derby

Another chance for Cardiff as Junior Hoilett sniffs out a second, but his curling shot across goal is palmed away by Kelle Roos.

Then Chris Martin tries to worm his way into the Cardiff box at the other end but is blocked off. No way through.

  4. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:31 British Summer Time 14 July 2020

    Luton 1-0 QPR

James Collins' penalty separates the two sides at the break.

  5. Postpublished at 20:31 British Summer Time 14 July 2020

    Cardiff 1-1 Derby

Matthew Clarke provides the roadblock to deny Lee Tomlin, as the tricky Cardiff playmaker threatened again.

Big stop from the Rams' centre-half. Heading for half-time all square.

  6. 'We have sympathy for Hull'published at 20:28 British Summer Time 14 July 2020

    FT: Wigan 8-0 Hull

    Paul CookImage source, PA Media

Wigan boss Paul Cook told BBC Radio Manchester:

"I'm delighted. We've also got sympathy for Hull. It's great to win as we have but management is tough at the minute and I've got some feelings for them because it's very tough for them, that's for sure.

“During all the pay stuff there's never been a complaint from the players. We have the utmost respect for the 75 people [at the club] who lost their jobs and we have to do our best to make them proud of us.

“We can look back on this season with pride no matter what happens. We need and want more and we have to do our best to get more.

“We’ll keep our heads down now. We’ve had enough accolades for the night and we move on to Charlton.”

    Sheff Wed 0-0 Huddersfield

Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Barry Bannan has a wand of a boot but his free-kick just sailed a little high for Dominic Iorfa in the box.

The diminutive Scot can really whip a ball, and wasn't far away then.

  8. Postpublished at 20:24 British Summer Time 14 July 2020

    Millwall 1-0 Blackburn

Just as I said that Blackburn have not really created much...

Adam Armstrong lays off Bradley Johnson on the edge of the box but he drags his effort just wide.

Rovers are beginning to get into the game now.

  9. Postpublished at 20:23 British Summer Time 14 July 2020

    Sheff Wed 0-0 Huddersfield

Jonas Lossl makes a big save to keep scores level at Hillsborough as the home side grows in confidence.

Moses Odubajo cracks a shot at goal and Lossl has to be at his most supple to reach it and turn away. Odubajo just wandered through the defence.

It's sparked into life at the famous old stadium.

  10. Postpublished at 20:21 British Summer Time 14 July 2020

    Millwall 1-0 Blackburn

Rovers are seeing more of the ball but have not really created any chances.

Millwall look comfortable with their lead.

After Hull were thrashed 8-0 by Wigan earlier this evening, we've added a link to BBC Radio Humberside's post-match phone-in at the top of this page.

We're still waiting for reaction from Hull boss Grant McCann, but Paul Cook has spoken and we'll bring you some of his post-match interview shortly.

    Luton 1-0 QPR

Some good defending from Luton centre back Sonny Bradley who blocks an effort from Bright Osayi-Samuel, that looked like it was going in.

QPR are beginning to get into the game a little now.

  13. goal

GOAL: Cardiff 1-1 Derbypublished at 20:15 British Summer Time 14 July 2020

    Jason Knight (30 mins)

Having gifted Cardiff a goal with his backpass, Jason Knight redeems himself with a coolly-taken leveller for the Rams.

Louie Sibley was the creator, thrusting through the middle of the park and keeping Cardiff on the backpedal before cutely picking out Knight on the right of the box and he drew Alex Smithies before burying the ball in the net.

Derby needed that. Game on between the two play-off rivals.

  14. CLOSE!published at 20:13 British Summer Time 14 July 2020

    Luton 1-0 QPR

Almost a second for the Hatters - James Collins puts in a low cross and Elliot Lee fires just wide from close range.

Luton are playing very well, QPR have not got going so far.

    Sheff Wed 0-0 Huddersfield

Arsenal loanee Emile Smith-Rowe is starting to show his qualities for Huddersfield, giving Joe Wildsmith a few scares in the Owls goal but his shot drifts just wide.

    Is a goal looming?

  16. Postpublished at 20:10 British Summer Time 14 July 2020

    Cardiff 1-0 Derby

Big save for Kelle Roos to make there for Derby, as Lee Tomlin was again looking to profit from some loose passing.

Roos did enough to snuff out the opportunity. Crucial to keep the Rams in this.

  17. goal

GOAL: Millwall 1-0 Blackburnpublished at 20:08 British Summer Time 14 July 2020

    Mason Bennett (20 mins)

Millwall lead and it's Mason Bennett who taps it home for his second goal for the Lions.

    FT: Wigan 8-0 Hull

We'll hopefully have reaction from both camps to that astonishing result at Wigan to come.

After that Luton opener against QPR, a look at the table shows Wigan are 11 points above the relegation zone and have a much superior goal difference over all of the teams below them.

There's the prospect of a 12-point deduction to come, but the Latics might end up being safe even if that's applied at the end of the campaign.

  19. goal

GOAL: Luton 1-0 QPRpublished at 20:07 British Summer Time 14 July 2020

    James Collins pen (20 mins)

Luton have been on top and have the lead.

James Collins puts away the spot kick after Ryan Manning brought down James Bree in the box.

That moves Luton out of the bottom three.

  20. Postpublished at 20:07 British Summer Time 14 July 2020

    Sheff Wed 0-0 Huddersfield

Sheffield Wednesday are in a strange position, as despite their safe mid-table position they are possibly facing a points deduction.

So maybe they ought to get stuck in a bit here tonight, a few extra points might prove useful.

Not a great amount of goalmouth action.
