Just a handful of Northampton players remain on the Wembley pitch, making phone calls to loved ones.
Now it's just a case of the post-match press conferences on Zoom. I'm not sure I'll ever get used to this, and hopefully we won't have to!

That'll mean the world to them and a great way to keep the supporters involved on a night they'll be gutted to have missed.

Let's not forget, Northampton were seventh in the table when the season was curtailed and then decided via points-per-game - the lowest-placed of the four play-off sides. They've pulled it out of the bag when it's really mattered.
As for Exeter, who finished fifth, they now face a ninth consecutive campaign in League Two.

Nicky Adams is video calling a loved one on the pitch with his team-mates larking about in the background.
Another Northampton player is being ridiculed for sitting 30 yards away from his team-mates to call a loved one.
I must say you do take much more in without the roars from the crowd, but it's a much poorer experience without them.

Northampton's opening goal-scorer Ryan Watson adds to Sky Sports:
"We might not have been here without the fans' support earlier in the season. We owe a huge thank you to the fans and hopefully we did them proud tonight.
"Hopefully, next year, we can have a right good go at League One."

"You have to have belief, and we've got a group of players and staff that have got belief in what we are trying to do.
"We are very proud to play for the football club, the owners, the chairman and the investors. I've got to say thank you to my family because they play a big part. We are proud to represent the fans.
"We've got an identity and we have to make sure we didn't navigate away from our identity.
"We've been on a massive journey. I remember a season ticket holder throwing a season ticket at me."

As the final whistle went the Northampton players all hugged each other, with manager Keith Curle at the heart of the celebrations.
It all happened down the lens of a camera, sharing the raw emotion with Cobblers fans in their living rooms.
As they prepared for the trophy lift they then strangely all stood apart but that understandably did not last long as the dancing and huddles started.
No Wembley steps, no supporters but still an almighty party to come.

They did not go up the steps to lift the silverware aloft in the stands, given the absence of a crowd. The bubbly is flowing now.

The last manager to take Northampton up to League One was a fella called Chris Wilder, in 2016.

Northampton's second goal-scorer Callum Morton tells Sky Sports:
"It couldn't have got any better really. As a team we have come here and played out of our skin.
"No one really gave us a chance in the whole of the play-offs and we put in two unbelievable performances. Everyone has been quietly confident. We've just gone about our business as we would do every other week and it's paid off."
