What a save! Declan Rice does well initially, and Mason Mount powers a header towards the top corner from four yards and somehow Kasper Schmeichel's left fingertips keep it out. It's a brilliant save.

Should Schmeichel have been allowed to get anywhere near that though?

The corner is nodded on and Mount twists his head to direct it towards goal. He's only a few yards out and thinks he's scored but Schmeichel manages to claw it off the line somehow. It was almost behind him!

Marcus Rashford thinks he's blocked off on the left but he's just run straight into Simon Kraer. Denmark are starting to frustrate England with spells of long possession.

Reece James slides in to get a good touch on a pass intended for Christian Eriksen. Harry Kane does well to hold it up and England then switch it around the back.

Conor Coady picks out Mason Mount but he can't link-up with Declan Rice and the visitors have the ball back in their own half.

Davey G: If Trent Alexander-Arnold is on the bench because he doesn't suit your system you need to have a long hard think about your system.

Calum Stone: I will forever love Southgate for what he did in the World Cup, but if he doesn’t stop these defensive lineups in games we should be dominating, he may have to go.

It's interesting that Kyle Walker has got himself back into the side. Not that long ago it looked like he was totally out of the England picture but he's showing his versatility by coming out to this left-hand side.

We talk about competition in a lot of areas but England do seem to have a problem at left-back/left-wing back. There's Ben Chilwell but the competition mainly comes from the right footers.

Reece James finds Mason Mount on the right. He jinks inside and slips it to Declan Rice but the midfielder completely miscontrols it and loses possession.

Mount flaps his arms in frustration.

Simon Kjaer fizzes a long ball into the box which Yussuf Poulsen manages to get a head on. It's comfortable for Jordan Pickford.
