  1. DvdB does itpublished at 20:13 British Summer Time 14 October 2020

    Italy 1-1 Netherlands

    Netherlands

Not the most Dutch of goals, not much total football here as the ball pinballs around inside the penalty area but there's the new Manchester United man Donny van de Beek to pick up the pieces and slam in.

That's the first goal for the Netherlands under boss Frank de Boer...

    England 0-0 Denmark

Reece James gets nutmegged on the right but he's backed up by Kalvin Phillips. Harry Maguire then loses his balance on the far side as he tries to keep the ball in play and hobbles away, just clutching the back of his leg. Has he pulled a muscle? Worth keeping an eye on.

    England 0-0 Denmark

Very little movement in the attacking box from England. Stationary.

This is Harry Kane's touch map from the opening quarter of this game... I'll let you judge.

  4. England must be more clinicalpublished at 20:10 British Summer Time 14 October 2020

    England 0-0 Denmark

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Wembley

England are getting into some decent wide positions but their crossing has been wayward in a bit of a scrappy start.

The low note has been a truly rotten, needless challenge by Harry Maguire on Yussuf Poulsen that brought a deserved yellow card. Reckless.

    England 0-0 Denmark

Neither Harry Kane and Ainsley Maitland-Niles were in the six-yard box as Mason Mount whips a very dangerous early ball in.

It was begging for somebody to get on the end of it.

    England 0-0 Denmark

Declan Rice plays a diagonal ball over to Reece James, who is in the box on the right side. He slides it across the six-yard area first-time but nobody can get on the end of it.

James is getting into some nice areas though.

It's just Mason Mount's final ball that is letting him down at the moment. England are working some nice areas.

  8. Postpublished at 21 mins

    England 0-0 Denmark

Mason Mount does well again down the right and wins England a corner. It's whipped in by Kalvin Phillips after the initial clearance but it's headed away again.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles is invited to shoot and he looks like he's about to but ends up trying to link-up with Harry Kane, who wasn't ready for it.

It's not quite clicking for England yet.

  9. Italy on toppublished at 20:05 British Summer Time 14 October 2020

    Italy 1-0 Netherlands

    Italy

After a slow start in Bergamo the hosts have the lead!

Lorenzo Pellegrini, the Roma winger, opens the scoring after a surgical ball across the area from Nicolo Barella.

Italy would have a three-point gap at the top of their group as it stands.

  10. Postpublished at 19 mins

    England 0-0 Denmark

Conor Coady does well to intercept a pass on the edge of his box and sets Marcus Rashford on his way.

He moves it over to the right and it's switched across the midfield by England, before Rashford gives it away sloppily just outside the area.

Christian Eriksen then makes the most of a deflection off Declan Rice to race through the middle but his shot is way over.

  11. Postpublished at 17 mins

    England 0-0 Denmark

Ainsley Maitland-Niles heads it down and into the path of Marcus Rashford, who is in space just inside of the left touchline.

He takes a touch and tries to catch Kasper Schmeichel out with a low, long-range effort but it's fairly comfortable for the Leicester keeper. Not a bad effort though.

  12. 'A chance wasted'published at 19:59 British Summer Time 14 October 2020

    England 0-0 Denmark

    Chris Sutton
Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

Mason Mount does so well. It was wizardry out on the right. He got to the byline and I just wondered if he was clipped initially, so he had to delay putting the ball in. It was a chance wasted.

  13. France take early leadpublished at 19:59 British Summer Time 14 October 2020

    Croatia 0-1 France

    France

    No stopping that one.

France have taken an early lead in the 2018 World Cup re-run against Croatia.

Barcelona forward Antoine Griezmann unleashed an unstoppable effort which crashed into the net via the underside of the crossbar.

    Bosh.

    England 0-0 Denmark

Mason Mount races away from Thomas Delaney on the byline but is indecisive at the key moment - pausing to cut it back and in the end, passing it straight into the keeper's arms from a tight angle.

We were 3-0 up at half time in Madrid playing 4-3-3. So why are we playing 5 at the back with 2 holding midfielders at home against Denmark and Iceland?

    England 0-0 Denmark

Denmark look more likely to score at the moment. They won't with an effort like this though, as Robert Skov skews a half-volley way over.

England will just try and keep the ball for a bit now.

  17. Postpublished at 19:56 British Summer Time 14 October 2020

    England 0-0 Denmark

I always think when England play a Scandinavian country that people expect a cricket score and it actually doesn't work like that.

  18. Postpublished at 19:56 British Summer Time 14 October 2020

Romelu Lukaku has scored for Belgium. Again.

They are 1-0 up against Iceland in the other game in England's group.

  19. Postpublished at 9 mins

    England 0-0 Denmark

Important touch from Kalvin Phillips as Christian Eriksen's corner delivery is almost slid in at the near post by Kasper Dolberg, who had come close a few moments ago.

The visitors are starting to look dangerous now.

  20. 'Denmark will aim to exploit wide areas'published at 19:54 British Summer Time 14 October 2020

    England 0-0 Denmark

    Chris Sutton
Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

It's a timely challenge by Connor Coady for England. Denmark will switch the ball quickly to try and expose England in the wide areas.
