Lovely flick inside from Gylfi Sigurdsson to set-up Moise Kean. The Italian blasts it over the bar though.

A statement from PGMOL on Dominic Calvert-Lewin's goal in the first half that was overturned by VAR:

"In the 31st minute of Everton vs. West Bromwich Albion, Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s disallowed goal was overturned by VAR. The on-field decision was that Calvert-Lewin was offside, but the VAR advised the referee that West Brom’s Darnell Furlong played the ball into Calvert-Lewin’s path. The Referee Review Area was not used by the referee as this was a factual decision."

When you have a keeper that never sets a foot off his line, got to expect to concede from set pieces, same story as last two seasons! Take nothing away from Everton though since the 45th minute!

Alex Iwobi can't pick out Moise Kean in the box but it does eventually come over to him via Seamus Coleman on the right.

    Allan looks like a player.

He's controlling that midfield and Everton are just enjoying themselves now. Kieran Gibbs' red card destroyed West Brom.

It won't get easier for the Baggies either. They've got Chelsea at home next. Ouch.

Tom Reilly: I think this is going to be a tough old season for West Brom, they have looked rather disjointed, not just this season but since project restart.

George Powell: Yes it’s only been two games, but Everton are currently top of the league. Now would be a great time to issue your big lockdown Boris, then we can call the season off and we’ll be champions...

  12. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 77 mins

    Everton 5-2 West Brom

Oh my word. It's an unbelievable finish from Richarlison. The sound of it crashing the net... Lovely.

But he's offside. It's a curling cross in from the right, he lets it bounce once and then absolutely thumps it into the top right corner. He's gutted. That would have been some goal!

BtheG: The old West Brom at least knew how to defend. It's to early, but my prime candidate for relegation.

Tim Marchant: Not the best quality game, but its a cracker. Everton looking very impressive going forward in early stages of the season.

  14. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 75 mins

Another West Brom change. Sam Field is on for Romaine Sawyers.

Alex Iwobi has been energetic since coming on and he makes another smart run in behind which isn't quite picked out with a long ball.

Those West Brom changes are surely just to protect Grady Diangana and Matheus Pereira because this is game over.
