  1. Tought start for the Baggiespublished at 11:20 British Summer Time 19 September 2020

Everton v West Brom (12:30 BST)

Promoted West Brom got off to a tough start to life in the Premier League with a 3-0 defeat at home by Leicester City.

Goalkeeper Sam Johnstone twice came to the home side's rescue with saves to deny Harvey Barnes in the first half.

But Leicester's new signing Timothy Castagne broke the deadlock when he nodded home a far-post cross from fellow Belgian Dennis Praet nine minutes after the restart.

Jamie Vardy then netted a double from the penalty spot and Johnstone was forced into another save to deny Barnes in the second half.

All-in-all, it was a very disappointing start for the Baggies, who could face a tough task to avoid the drop this season.

Everton v West Brom (12:30 BST)

    How we feeling Everton fans?

It was an exciting summer of transfers for the Blues with Colombian international James Rodriquez joining for around £12m from Real Madrid.

They also added Napoli's combative Brazil international Allan and Watford's French midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure.

All three started their opening Premier League victory against Tottenham in London last Sunday, before Carlo Ancelotti's side saw off Salford City with a 3-0 win in the second round of the Carabao Cup.

It can't have been a better start for Everton so can they cement that with a first win at home in the league?

Reds' defender Ki-Jana Hoever, 18, went the other way for £9m and a possible £4.5m in add-ons.

Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale arrived at Tottenham Hotspur's training ground on Friday as he neared a return to the club.

And just this morning, Aston Villa have signed forward Bertrand Traore from Lyon in a deal worth £17m.

West Brom, like Everton, made 10 changes for their midweek cup win over Harrogate Town.

New signing Branislav Ivanovic is lacking match fitness so won't feature against the Toffees but fellow new arrival Conor Gallagher is available.

Matt Phillips and Conor Townsend could feature in the Premier League for the first time this season having made their injury return in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.
