    Newcastle 0-2 Brighton

Javier Manquillo and Ryan Fraser are starting to link-up better down the right. Jamal Lewis hasn't been able to get forward much on the left but he does so here.

It's switched back over to the right but the cross is way over Callum Wilson's head. He's claiming a foul off Ben White but it's nonsense.

    Newcastle 0-2 Brighton

Neal Maupay slips it left to Leandro Trossard, who has made a good overlapping run. He tries to cut it back into the centre but it's deflected out for a corner.

Karl Darlow does well to gather the resulting set-piece in.

Former Brighton & Hove Albion striker Warren Aspinall on BBC Radio Sussex:

I think its one of our best 45-minute away performances for a long time. I always say put the ball in the net and ask questions later. "Our keeper's not had a save to make. All 11 players have been excellent. But its only Half-time"

Simon Olivari: Has it ever happened before that the first two weekends of football produced no draws? I know it isn't over yet but it certainly makes the table look quite funny.

The way Brighton play, being in the right wing-back position suits Tariq Lamptey. It gives him the opportunity to get forward and his pace is unreal. Sometimes when you are that quick and you get into positions you don't always deliver, but he puts in the right pass and the right shot.

Neal Maupay has scored multiple goals in a league match for the first time since he netted twice in Brentford's 2-0 home win against Wigan Athletic in the Championship on 15 September 2018.

From minute one Brighton have been outstanding. They have worked hard and it has been a great team performance so far.

I know we keep talking about Tariq Lamptey but I have to give him huge credit. He has been outstanding - the best player on the pitch by a country mile.

More nice play from Brighton. It ends up at Tariq Lamptey's feet in the box and he hits it first time from a tight angle.

It's straight at the keeper. Could he have slipped it across the goalline for Neal Maupay? Probably.

Ryan Fraser looks like Newcastle's most likely. He looks really sharp, making runs in behind the Brighton defence.

Longroad64: With Brighton's second goal that makes the Premier League season home and away tally 20-33. Absence of home fans making a discernible difference??

Tom Lawrence: Okay so the 2020-21 Premier League season is no defence allowed? I can live with that

    Newcastle 0-2 Brighton

Ryan Fraser lifts a ball into the box and it's not dealt with properly by Brighton - who had three defenders around the ball when Mat Ryan ends up punching it up into the air.

Eventually it's out for a corner and the resulting set-piece is curled straight into the keeper's hands.

Solly March can't get on the end of the free-kick and it's punched away by Karl Darlow.

Yves Bissouma is waiting on the edge of the box. He dummies to shoot then does, but again, it's way over.

Newcastle have got a corner on the right. Jonjo Shelvey runs over to take it. It comes in low towards Ryan Fraser but Yves Bissouma mops up and leads another counter-attack down the left.

It comes over to Tariq Lamptey and he wins a free-kick off Andy Carroll.

    Reading from the script.

It's one-way traffic. I think Steve Bruce can't wait for half-time so he can change a few things. Brighton have so much pace, it feels like every time they break they are going to score.
