Tom McQuillin: It’s got to the point I wonder if I’ll ever see Spurs win a game again. A bit of an exaggeration but the quality has been so low for what feels like months. No shots in 35 minutes and getting played off the park - it’s becoming predictable.
Ash Williams: Eric Dier is NOT a centre back. To be honest he never gave Spurs much in midfield either. Far too slow.

Great touch and finish from Ings, but once again Dier showing why he's terrible. Slow off the mark and had no idea Ings was even there. Spurs have been terrible.

Hugo Lloris looked annoyed with himself and you can understand why. He shouldn't be getting beaten from there.

Danny Ings, take a bow. It's a sublime piece of skill and finish from the Southampton striker.
It's a simple ball over the top on the right from Kyle Walker-Peters but Ings brings it down with a superb touch and an even better finish from a tight angle, to go across Hugo Lloris and into the far corner.
That's his first of the season.

Matt Doherty lifts it down the line for Lucas Moura. He's offside but the flag can't go up yet so he slides it across to Harry Kane in the box and the striker puts it away into the roof of the net.
Then the flag goes up. Goal ruled out.

Equally ludicrous handball decision. Law makers lament at the entertainment they are denying. Frustration levels are way up though!

What gets me with these close VAR calls is how they judge WHEN the ball is passed. Millimetres either way will make a massive difference. What's the guidance?
