Francesca Gunn: How is that a pen, he didn’t touch him!! He clearly dived!
Aidan: I have not seen a Chelsea defence work this flawlessly in a long time, this is the line-up at the back we've all been screaming for!

David Ljunggren: I have seen crisp packets with more defensive nous than the Palace rearguard. Dear oh dear.
Robbie: Did Liverpool get this much stick when Klopp changed things about and tried to build? I'm sure they did.
Fahad Khan: All this talk of Chelsea buying two German powerhorses, and the new English Gentleman is the toast here.

Sends the keeper the wrong way!
Hop, skip, jump and tucked into the bottom corner by Jorginho.
Chelsea 2-0 Crystal Palace

Chelsea 2-0 Crystal Palace
Close, close, close to a third for Chelsea as Callum Hudson-Odoi drives in a cross from the right and Tammy Abraham gets his head to it but plants the ball just the wrong side of the post.

Although not an exciting game and Chelsea's attack isn't firing on all cylinders, they are much more organised and solid at the back. Set up at defensive corners greatly improved already. If they can keep a clean sheet then things look promising.
Natasha
I'd imagine that Werner will lead the line with a fully fit Ziyrch and Pulisic on either side of him, Callum Hudson-Odoi isn't going to be a starter is he?, give the others time to help and when the main men are fit you will no doubt see a different Chelsea.

Ben: Chilwell is on fire today!
Deldude: This sounds like a day for defenders. Goal and assist for Ben Chilwell on his debut for Chelsea in the EPL. Kurt Zouma on the scoresheet as well.
RegularJon: Nice to see Palace go for it like they did at OT…
Chelsea 2-0 Crystal Palace
Yellow card for N'Golo Kante for a foul just inside the Chelsea half. Tammy Abraham then gives away another free kick in a dangerous position and it causes a bit of panic inside the Chelsea box before Ben Chilwell calmly chests Joel Ward's ball across the face of goal back to his keeper.
Everton v Brighton (15:00 BST)
Two enforced changes for Everton from the win at Crystal Palace last weekend. Midfielders Allan and Andre Gomes are injured and so in come Tom Davies and Gylfi Sigurdsson.

Chelsea 2-0 Crystal Palace
Ben Chilwell gave the ball a few times away early on but has really grown as the game has gone on. As well as a goal and an assist he has defended strongly, made some great runs forward and provided some excellent deliveries. Early days, but looking a very good signing for Chelsea.

Frank Lampard a happier man now Chelsea have a two nil cushion. Kurt Zouma making amends for the header he missed earlier in the game with a nice, floated header beyond Vicente Guaita.
Chelsea 2-0 Crystal Palace
Long way back for Crystal Palace now but they make a change as Luka Milivojevic comes on for James McCarthy.
Kurt Zouma
He doesn't miss this time!
Great header as Kurt Zouma leaps higher than Mamadou Sakho to head home Ben Chiwell's cross.
A goal and assist for Chilwell - great debut.

MrCappy: Re Amol Ravel - much the same feelings when Jose Mourinho used to park the Chelsea bus I think.
Hugo Flaxman: Definitely do not agree with Amol (13:46) - Palace are a well organised team, who can pack a punch on the counter. They are playing a team that has £200 million of summer signings, and have held their own in defence. As a neutral, I've enjoyed it.
Chelsea 1-0 Crystal Palace
Something more significant to do for Edouard Mendy as he gets down well to keep out a deflected Jordan Ayew shot.
Palace got a good amount of players forward for that attack so Chelsea's defenders need to be on their toes.
