That's a huge chance for Harry Kane. For his standards it's a free header, and he just doesn't get enough on it. It was a wonderful opportunity.

Harry Kane has barely had a touch since coming on but he should have scored - a free header from the corner! He's only six yards out but slices it wide of goal.

Into the last 10 minutes. Jordan Pickford plays a cracking 70-yard ball down the left wing to find Marcus Rashford, he tees up Mason Mount who has another dig, another massive deflection, and it flies wide.

England need to get a foothold on the game again. They have just allowed Belgium to dictate play for the last 5-10 minutes. They just need to get their foot on the ball and allow themselves to have a breather.

2-1 up against the number one side in the world with Sancho, Sterling and Chilwell to come in. It's not the worst position to be in.

Reece James in an impressive young man and player. You fast-track these guys because you know they are going to get there, it's just a matter of when.

England haven't been great, but Kyle Walker has been outstanding.

There's been a lot of criticism for Gareth Southgate recently but credit where it's due. He's identified the key issues England needed to identify -namely cutting off supply to Lukaku and breaking quicker and with more purpose against the Belgium defenders. It's paying massive dividends in the second half.

Leading against the top rated side in international football. Unbeaten and only one goal conceded in a calendar year, 23 goals scored. And people are going after Southgate? What have I missed?

Have Belgium lost the keys to the engine? This performance drop has made me feel like I have overachieved today - and I had my dinner delivered!

England will breathe a sigh of relief watching Kevin de Bruyne go off.

That was KDB's last touch - he comes off and is replaced by Yari Verschaeren. De Bruyne is either unhappy about coming off or unhappy at not coming off sooner as he's having a lengthy debrief with Roberto Martinez.

And that's the chance. WHAT a ball from Kevin de Bruyne, outside of the boot, threading a needle from the left wing and Yannick Carrasco has to score.

He's only about eight yards out, one on one, and he stabs it wide.

Into the last 20 minutes. An odd game to sum up really as Belgium looked streets above in the first half but are now losing after a pretty pedestrian second period.

Josh Earl: Much better 2nd half from England, need to keep it up though and not sit back on the lead.
