England 0-0 Belgium
Replays suggest that was a very tight call for offside. Belgium are bossing this now though.

Belgium have the lead! But it's chalked off.
Dortmund wing-back Thomas Meunier is sprung over the top down the right, he cuts it back to Yannick Carrasco who fires into the back of the net. It was quite close to Jordan Pickford...
Belgium celebrate but a late flag goes up and there is no VAR.
England 0-0 Belgium
It's certainly compact. Not much space to be found although Leicester's Timothy Castagne does get up on the overlap and crosses for Romelu Lukaku - but he can't get a proper purchase on his header and it slides across goal.

The passing has been sharp so far. Belgium are playing such a high line so the game is almost being played in a 30-yard area of the pitch so the passing has to be sharp and good.

It's already quieter without Coady. Still can't quite believe Walker and Dier are in ahead of him.

Has everyone forgotten that grealish had a strapped hamstring on thursday?? Maybe he's being rested!

Why oh why has Southgate not picked Jack Grealish to start today? What does the lad have to do to get in the team? And Pickford in goal, what a joke. If our best talent continues to be overlooked we're never going to win anything. Southgate out please, we need a manager with a backbone and a lot more savvy.

England 0-0 Belgium
Steady, patient build-up from Belgium as they look after the ball in their own defensive third. Just trying to find space for Romelu Lukaku up top but England are well drilled.

That was an incredible ball - it's worth watching the highlights just for that ball. It was one of the best balls of the season so far. Declan Rice must have been panicking but he did so well to get back.
England 0-0 Belgium
A decent watch so far - Marcus Rashford now drives into the area before whipping in a cross that is well headed out.
England 0-0 Belgium
What a knock that is - Youri Tielemans lasers a 60-yard diagonal into the run of Kevin de Bruyne as Belgium break, Declan Rice does well to track back and block his shot.
The pass was superb.
England 0-0 Belgium
Decent start from England as Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Marcus Rashford link up but Kieran Trippier can't fashion anything from the left.
England 0-0 Belgium
Away we go! Belgium kick us off.
Only just realised...England may have to forefit this game for giving Declan Rice the number seven shirt. Dear oh dear.

It's going to be an interesting game. We saw the difficulty of Kieran Trippier playing at left-back in the last round of fixtures and as a wing back you want to be stepping out on your stronger foot and that isn't going to be happening for him.
England v Belgium (17:00 BST)
Here we go then! England facing a proper test here. This Belgium team is quality.
Well, they're the best in the world according to the rankings.

Didn't Southgate used to talk about picking players on form and not reputation? He seems to have gone back on that now with Pickford, Rashford starting and Grealish on the bench.

Kyle Utterson: Those that say Southgate is clueless are the clueless ones. He is not clueless you don't get a side to a world cup semi final and Nations league semi finals by being clueless. Quality manager and England have a quality team now.

This for me is why friendly games are a waste of time. Both Grealish and Coady played well against Wales and would have fit perfectly into this team. Yet we are still somehow back to shoehorning players into unfamiliar positions when it comes to competitive matches.

What a rallying cry that is - here come the sides!

It matters not what team Southgate plays, England are not going to win the game. When are we all going to accept the fact that the majority of national teams are far more superior than us. If we could not achieve anything with the 'golden' generation, whilst I am happy to be proven wrong, then I do not hold much hope in these bunch of players. We will do well to make out of this group!

Is everyone saying Conor Coady has to start every game because he scored the other night?
