It's a strange old season. I do believe Tottenham have got a great chance. If they can defend like they can defend, going forward they will always score goals.

It's been a good game.

Brighton have caused Tottenham problems but when you have world superstars you can bring off the bench that is the difference.

Speaking of forwards who haven't scored in the Premier League since 2012, Danny Welbeck came on for Brighton a few minutes ago. Tariq Lamptey, who is going to be a superstar, is hurt though and can't carry on so the ever-intruiginly-named Alexis Mac Allister comes on.

Gareth Bale is playing on the right of a front three, I should say. Him, Kane, Son, it doesn't get a lot better than that does it?

Brighton have played really well today, can they rally once more and get something from the game?

I just felt that the game had gone a bit flat. It was a great header from Gareth Bale after some good play from Sergio Reguilon.

He has been doing that all his career. That is what he is all about.

That was Gareth Bale's first headed goal in the Premier League since October 2012 v Southampton. What a moment for Bale and for Spurs.

I can't believe how he has not scored. His touch took him so close to the post. That was a great chance but his touch let him down.
