There's definitely another goal in this, the biggest thing is the way Brighton are playing without the ball. When Aston Villa lose the ball they seem to be hitting them on the transition really quickly with purpose.

The chemistry between Adam Lallana, Danny Welbeck and Neal Maupay, it's just starting to click but they can always concede a goal.

The substitute is substituted as Traore departs to be replaced by Anwar El Ghazi. Conor Hourihane is also on, taking Douglas Luiz's place.

Brighton with another good chance. Grealish gets his side in trouble with a backheel in his own box that deflects to Maupay, who has his back to goal and attempts his own backheel as a shot. It is blocked, with the ball falling to Welbeck to poke wide.

Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho makes two changes to the side which beat West Brom 1-0 before the international break, as Gareth Bale drops to the bench.

Spurs are also without defender Matt Doherty, who tested positive for Covid-19 on international duty, with Serge Aurier and Steven Bergwijn earning starts.

Man City boss Pep Guardiola also makes two changes from his side's 1-1 draw with Liverpool almost two weeks ago.

Ilkay Gundogan and Raheem Sterling are replaced by Riyad Mahrez and Bernardo Silva.

Striker Sergio Aguero returns from injury to make the bench, but Fernandinho is absent due to a stomach problem.

Plenty of quality on both benches, with Gareth Bale among the Spurs subs.

I think the game could go either way - Brighton have got great shape but it seems like Aston Villa have all the possession then all of a sudden Brighton keep the possession and it's now all about composure.

Game management and what are they going to do next is key, how they are going to react to each other, a set-play has broke the deadlock. I feel that this game is end to end, it's exciting and I think Brighton could nick this one.

I think Brighton are now the side in control. Villa haven't been able to press as high as they were.

And you look at the players who are now getting on the ball for Brighton. Pascal Gross is getting on the ball a lot more.

It's comfortable for Brighton.

As it stands then, Villa are heading for a third straight home loss since that 7-2 win over Liverpool. From 3-0 at Arsenal to struggling here against Brighton. There is zero point trying to predict the Premier League.

Brilliant play from Watkins sees him beat a man and drive to the byline, but his chipped cross is too deep and over anyone who could apply a finish.

The way Solly March has taken that it bobbles up a bit before he strikes it but he's caressed it into the top corner.

That's delightful - to control the ball with that accuracy that is incredible.

Douglas Luiz looks to respond immediately for Villa but after a poor clearance from Brighton he can only lash his shot from range high and wide.

Really patient build-up play before that. You think it's fizzled out.

But eventually they make that pass, it's just a ball across the box but he hits it on the angle.

Well worth watching that one tonight.

Tariq Lamptey's pace is again a problem for Villa. The full-back drives through the middle and dogs pout a ball for Welbeck, who looks to be favourite to reach the ball first for a second before Martinez responds to save at his feet.

It remains a cracking game of football.
