  1. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 54 mins

    Liverpool 2-0 Leicester

Naby Keita cannot continue so he is replaced by right back Neco Williams.

That means Mr Versatile James Milner goes into midfield. If Alisson gets injured in this game I'd just stick Milner in goal because he'd undoubtedly do a job there too.

There could me more injury trouble for Liverpool here. Naby Keita is now down stretching his leg. He's trying to shake it off, not sure if he will be able to. He looks in some discomfort.

James Maddison plays a great ball through the Liverpool defence and Harvey Barnes is on to it and away but he can only place his shot straight at Alisson.

Almost a third for Liverpool and a second for Diogo Jota straight from the restart as Andy Robertson puts in another superb cross but this time Jota sidefoots over the bar.

Really hope Liverpool score the 8 to go top of the table. If Spurs stay top until next weekend my dad and best mate will get even more carried away.

I think Leicester definitely have to score the next goal to have any chance whatsoever of taking something from the game.

Diogo Jota has played in the Premier League. He's a very clever player and he's just enjoying himself. He has seriously impressed everyone at the football club, he has taken to it and he has made it look extremely easy.

The players are back out on the pitch and almost ready to go. Diogo Jota in particular is bouncing with a big beaming smile on his face. He's desperate to get going again.

Michael Smith: Liverpool showing how to play when you have a makeshift defence - play in their half. Great display so far.

Dave Smooth: Diogo Jota, he’s the ‘Michael Owen’ type of striker Liverpool have been searching for since, err, Michael Owen.

Stuart Mole: I've been a Wolves supporter for over 40 years and Diogo Jota has been one of my favourite players in that time. The way Liverpool play suits him even more, he is going to be one of the Premier league greats.

    Mark Lawrenson
Ex-Liverpool defender at Anfield on BBC Radio 5 Live

Regardless of all the changes Livepool have made, the passing has been excellent and the movement has been super.

Liverpool really fully deserve the 2-0 lead. Apart from Harvey Barnes' chance where he should have scored for Leicester, Liverpool have been in total control.

Considering the changes they have made, you thought Liverpool might take a while to get started, but they have played really, really well in the first 45 minutes.

It could be a lot more than 2-0, to be honest.

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Anfield

Liverpool have been outstanding and it's all uphill for Leicester City now. The Foxes have not been able to get Jamie Vardy into the game at all.

Jurgen Klopp sprinted down the tunnel when the half-time whistle went. Surely all he needs to say is: "More of the same."

Injury crisis? What injury crisis? Liverpool's patched together defence has been pretty solid so far, restricting Leicester to just one shot on target.

It was a fabulous ball in from Andy Robertson and it just needed the slightest glance from Diogo Jota.

It is a deft flick from Jota, and it gave Kasper Schmeichel no chance.
