Everton 0-0 Leeds
James Rodriguez's shot from the edge of the box is spilled by Meslier, but the young keeper is able to get up quickly to gather at the feet of Calvert-Lewin.
Everton 0-0 Leeds
The corner is poor and cleared at the near post.
Everton 0-0 Leeds
Everton win a corner but make a sub first. Andre Gomes is on for Alex Iwobi.
Everton 0-0 Leeds
Leeds' turn to have a goal ruled out. Bamford pokes the ball into the net, but the flag is up against Alioski, who provided the cross but moved too soon to collect a ball over the top ahead of it.
Everton 0-0 Leeds
Chance after chance after chance.
Lovely feet from Raphinha on the edge of the box buys him the chance to shoot, but his effort is then tentative and side-footed wide.
Everton 0-0 Leeds
Ayling looks for Alioski at the back post and finds him but he has to slide and can only poke the ball into the grasp of Pickford.
Everton 0-0 Leeds
Oh, Phillips sprays a superb pass out to the right and is unfortunate that Jack Harrison can't quite get in on it to test Pickford. Some of Phillips' cross-field passing is a joy to watch.
Everton 0-0 Leeds
Jack Harrison sees a low drive saved by Pickford. Then Allan ends a driving run with a shot just past the post.
Moments later we get our first change.
Fabian Delph, a Leeds academy graduate from back in their League One days, is on for Everton, replacing Tom Davies.

M&N: End to End, this is beautiful to watch.
Everton 0-0 Leeds
Richarlison is found wide left by James, but his low shot is saved by Meslier. Soon, hopefully not too far in the future, one of these teams will provide a truly ruthless, cutting shot that gives one of them the lead.
It would be truly remarkable if this stays goalless.
Everton 0-0 Leeds
Meslier almost gifts Everton the opener. It is a dreadful pass straight to James Rodriguez - the last man you'd want to do that to - but the Colombian's floated chip isn't able to beat the retreating keeper.
Everton 0-0 Leeds
Another chance. Everton give the ball away and Klich sets up Bamford for a poked volley that floats over the bar.
Everton 0-0 Leeds
Oh, lovely move again from Leeds but another wasteful effort. Ayling and Harrison combine down the right to set up Klich on the edge of the box, but he curls his effort over the bar.
They are going to regret these spurned chances.

Rob Simpson: Andrew (18:24) says Leeds can't defend. Since Bielsa took over no team in any of the 4 divisions has had more clean sheets.
Everton 0-0 Leeds
It is end to end already in this half. Bamford sees a shot blocked in the box and Everton break through Calvert-Lewin, who drags his shot wide of the far post.
Everton 0-0 Leeds
Not much from Calvert-Lewin in the first half but he draws the first save of the second half, charging away down the right before firing an angled drive that Meslier pushes wide.
Everton 0-0 Leeds
Well, the two teams did all but score in that first half. Will we have a breakthrough in this second 45 minutes?
Everton get us back under way.

Josh Slater: Phillips is a class act.
Marc Richards: Gotta say this is one of the best 0-0s I’ve watched in a long while
Leeds are definitely going to need to do more than "just" being the better team, if they're going to thrive in the Premier League. They are very good, though.

FT: Brighton 1-1 Liverpool
Brighton & Hove Albion
Brighton boss Graham Potter speaking to Match of the Day: "It was a huge performance from us. Liverpool started well and we got away with a couple of opportunities but then we had a big chance ourselves. That gave us belief. We played with courage and personality. We got some fine margins on our side. I'm pleased with the performance and we are happy with the point.
"I've not seen it closely. I don't think it's the most stone-wall penalty you will ever see but that's where we're at. Some decisions you'll get and some you won't. Unless we get computers doing linesman's jobs and referees, I don't know.
"You have to be fair to Liverpool, they are coming with less preparation time. They played on Wednesday and it's an early kick-off. In the end, the boys put a lot into the game and played well.
"It's [Aaron Connolly's] first start for a while. He sprints around a lot and was coming back from some problems on international breaks. Aaron did great. I've not been in to see Adam Lallana yet. I think it was just another contact but I need to speak with the physios."
Brighton drew 1-1 with Liverpool earlier. The only post-match quotes we still have in the locker are these from Graham Potter...
