Steve Smith: Leeds playing like a Premier League team, Everton playing like Everton. Brilliant.

Andrew [18:24]. Have you watched Burnley, Fulham, West Brom and Sheffield United this season?!

Honestly, there have been enough chances in this match for two games let alone one!

Leeds well on top and should be ahead, but Everton have crafted plenty of opportunities themselves.

Leeds might be good to watch but they can't finish or defend to save their life, so what's the point in looking good if you can't do the basics? They will be in a relegation battle come the end of the season. Style over substance will get them a one way ticket back to the championship.

    Andrew

Maybe they should just dig in and try to defend for 90 minutes, Andrew. Like Burnley did at Man City.

    Everton 0-0 Leeds

There were 20 shots in total in that first half - that is the most first half shots in a Premier League game this season overall. Only nine of them on target.

Leeds' haul of 13 shots is the joint-most for team in a Premier League first-half this season. But crucially, they didn't score.

Tom: Leeds this, Leeds that. They are 15th and have shipped 17 goals...

Sho: Everton desperately need another man in midfield, they're getting absolutely dominated in that area. Wouldn't be surprised to see Gomes come on at half time.

Everton lacking creativity here, the industry of James is commendable, but you can see they're lacking the craft and guile which Delph brings.

Oh, wide again! Ayling's drive deflects to Klich, who looks to curl one and puts his shot just past the far post.

It really is amazing that this game doesn't have a goal.

I'm trying to think of the last time I watched Everton without biting my nails

    Andy in Peebles

What's sort of impressive about Leeds is how many different players are failing to score

    Tim, London

This is cracking stuff from Leeds. All over Everton.

And now Leeds go ridiculously close to scoring. Jack Harrison rises in the box to head the ball smack against the post with Jordan Pickford flailing.

    How is this still 0-0?!

Yes, this is not going to be a goal. The flag was right. Ben Godfrey was in front of the keeper and in an offside position when the header occurred. VAR backs it up, but that is a good call from the assistant.

Everton think they have scored as Richarlison rises to head in from a corner. But the flag is up.

He definitely did handle it. The check occurs but the tech is happy that there was nothing untoward about it, though. Earlier in the season it probably would have been a penalty. Now? Oh, who really knows?!

Here is a chance for Everton. James Rodriguez is fouled near the Leeds box, giving the home side a chance to deliver into danger.

The worry, as is so often the case for Leeds, is that they have dominated much of this game so far, but are not ahead. Everton have all the quality they need to punish a wasteful side.

Leeds proving once again they are one of the Premier League's most entertaining teams, but also one of the most wasteful.

Can you imagine someone like Harry Kane or even Dominic Calvert-Lewin having this many chances to work with?

To be fair, Jordan Pickford is impressing in front of the watching Gareth Southgate.

Dean Plumley: Can we just take a minute to appreciate how well Leeds have adapted to the Premier League? Liquid football.

Richard Cohen: Problem with this system is it basically ends up as 5-2-3, but the 5 are a shambles and can't defend, and the 2 aren't enough to get a grip on the game in the middle. Leaves Everton desperately open. We will need to score 4 or 5 to win this.

James Lynch:Nothing wrong with the decision he was definitely offside but I can’t help feeling conspiratorial after seeing the flag go up AFTER James put the ball in the goal.
