Nemanja Matic was much better in the second half, Bruno Fernandes stepped up, Marcus Rashford was a threat and for Southampton, it just went wrong.

Edinson Cavani changed the momentum in just 45 minutes.

Only Lionel Messi (435), Cristiano Ronaldo (421) and Zlatan Ibrahimovic (253) have scored as many goals in Europe's top five leagues as Edinson Cavani (253) since he made his Serie A debut for Palermo on 11 March 2007.

Edinson Cavani is only the second player to be directly involved in 3+ goals in a Premier League game after coming on as a substitute for Man Utd (2 goals, 1 assist), after current manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer scored four against Nottingham Forest in February 1999.

What a substitution!

The impact that Edinson Cavani has had has potentially won United this game. It was a quick free kick.

Marcus Rashford has drilled in a lively cross ball and Cavani has gone across everyone, no one picked him up he has had to keep really low.

It wasn't the greatest of headers but everyone was switched off and nobody expected it.

Ole Gunner Solskjaer is going berserk as he knows what a combeack that has been.

Marcus Rashford should have hit the shot, Fred wasn't ready for it and Rashford should have pulled the trigger.

Another good oportunity missed and Rashford's decision-making hasn't been on the money today.
