Southampton v Man Utd (14:00 GMT)
What about the recent record between the two sides? Well...
Southampton v Man Utd (14:00 GMT)
But wait, here come Man Utd on an impressive little away run. The Red Devils could actually set a club record of eight successive league away wins this Sunday. They can also equal the club Premier League record of scoring multiple goals in eight successive away fixtures, set from December 2001 to March 2002.
They're away form is actually currently outscoring their home nine points to four.
Must be all that added pressure of not playing in front of their own fans at Old Trafford.
Southampton v Man Utd (14:00 GMT)
So, yeah, Southampton are pretty good now.
They are currently on a seven-match unbeaten league run, which has yielded five wins. Their seventeen point haul is their third-highest tally after nine games of a Premier League campaign. Ralph Hassenhuttl's side have also scored in all but one of their past 16 league fixtures.
In particular relevance to today, they have won 2-0 in each of their last three Premier League home games and are looking to keep four successive home league clean sheets for the first time since February 2016.

Tom: Probably the best team United could start with. But Matic doesn't pass the ball quick enough and is a bit slow. Fred looks decent for twenty minutes then becomes a liability playing negatively and giving away free kicks in dangerous areas.
Some exciting attacking talent for United but don't see any width or penetration down the wings. Formation too narrow for me.

Glorious day at Southampton. The pitch at St. Mary’s just getting a real soaking in the moments before kick-off.
Good few blasts of Oasis over the PA to give the day a taste of Manchester.

Bruno Fernandes is the new Cristiano Ronaldo. Discuss.
OK, that is a bit disingenuous. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer didn't exactly say that. He did, though, say that Fernandes "definitely has that presence (like Ronaldo). He has that influence and impact on his team mates.
"We can just look at the results since he’s come in. He’s got lots of energy, leadership; he’s a team player, which is a key here now for us going forward."
Undoubtedly, Fernandes has improved Man Utd. He has scored 21 goals in 35 matches for United since joining from Sporting Lisbon and registered 15 assists.
If he does ever reach Ronaldo levels of output, United will really benefit. That transfer fee will go a long way to secure a decent replacement.

Manchester United have been much better on the road this season, winning three out of three away league games so far.
I am backing them to make it four out of four on Sunday, with the template being their win over Everton at Goodison Park before the international break.
We know how good Southampton have been but they are not going to just sit in - they will have a go at United, who will be happy for them to do that and then look to pick them off the same way they did at Everton.
Prediction: 0-2

Joe Wedgwood: Expect Saints to outrun United today but predicting a 1-1 draw
Southampton to have an off day, United win, everyone goes over the top and says they're back and gonna challenge just because of an easy win. See also City yesterday.
Dan, London
I like that United line up. Fred and Matic to sit a bit deeper and give Fernandes and VDB the opportunity to be creative. Excited to see how this works.
Tim, London
There was plenty of FA Cup second-round action to get your teeth into too. I won't degrade it with my bland chat. You can just watch some of it for yourself...

Francesca Gunn: Yes! Finally Donny starts!! And Telles starting, which now that I think about it was inevitable because no Shaw, but still. I see this being a good game and a win for United (I hope)
Colin: Man United aren't good enough to contain Southampton. They need to look to dominate the midfield areas, if they want to have a hope of winning today
Things are looking very grim for the Blades. Just one point from a possible 30 to start the season, they are rock bottom.
United are just the third side in English top-flight history to earn as few as one point after 10 league games, after Manchester United (0 in 1930-31) and West Bromwich Albion (1 in 1985-86). They also remain the only side yet to keep a clean sheet in the Premier League this season.
It is down the other end where their real problems lie, though. They simply can't score. They've netted just four times so far this season and boy did they spurn some chances yesterday.
Not to be outdone by events at Goodison, West Brom and Sheffield United produced 38 goals between them in the last of yesterday's four games. Just the one goal from those attempts and it went to the Baggies, who are now out of the bottom three. As boss Slaven Bilic told the BBC after the game, it was more than just three points to his side...
Four wins out of five to start the season. Four defeats out of five to follow. To be fair, Carlo Ancelotti did warn that the bubble would burst eventually after that strong initial punt in 2020-21. He probably didn't see it happening quite so spectacularly.
Our man Al Magowan was at Goodison yesterday and has written a piece on why the Toffees' season has stalled. You can read it here.
Yes, City scored five, but arguably the most entertaining game from yesterday's quartet came at Goodison Park, where Leeds claimed a 1-0 win over Everton thanks to Raphinha's first goal for his new club.
How it was only 1-0 is a question that needs a longer answer than I can provide here. Let's just say it was a game of multiple chances and more than a little attacking intent.
Leeds were excellent. They have won as many away Premier League games in 2020-21 (three) as they did in the entirety of 2003-04 (their previous top-flight campaign), whilst they have kept consecutive clean sheets in the competition for the first time since January 2003. That is 42 clean sheets in 101 games under Marcelo Bielsa. Can't defend, though, apparently.
The win moves City up to eighth. But as Simon Stone points out in the piece on our site, it says something about Manchester City's scoring problems that despite netting five against Burnley for the fourth consecutive home meeting with the Clarets, their tally of 15 from their first nine Premier League games is their worst at this stage since 2010.
You can read more of Simon's piece on whether City have rediscovered their mojo here.

Alex SPR: Manchester United may be in trouble today. I see Fernandes in the team sheet but no Fernandes (P)
Robert McKie: Man United will struggle with their lack of mobility around the pitch. Expect the spritely Saints to run rings around them today.
Man City recorded their annual 5-0 home win over Burnley on Saturday. Just the four years in a row that has happened.
Riyad Mahrez scored three, Kevin de Bruyne was brilliant, etc, etc.
City have won their past seven meetings with Burnley by an aggregate score of 28-1.
The 5-0 win means City are only the second side in Football League history to win four successive home games by five or more goals against the same opponent, after Notts County did so against Port Vale between October 1893 and February 1907.
