Dane: Re:Tim - Liverpool should not re-sign Coady. As a Liverpool fan who saw him come through the academy, I'm delighted to see him have the career he has, but he would not work back here. Wolves suits him and how he plays perfectly, we don't. He would cost a fortune, too

I think there is going to be a good finish to this game. Wolves, who are really in the ascendancy, might go on and get the winner, but you just can't rule out Southampton breaking down the pitch and getting one.

He can be a frustrating player and he's had a frustrating night. Adama Traore is penalised for a push as Southampton see the clock out very well.

He has been excellent, the Saints keeper. I make that eight saves.

What a save this is from Alex McCarthy. Big save with his left boot.

No, they won't. But if they did it would have to be silly. As silly as the speed of Pedro Neto as he bursts into the area and hits a low shot which is again saved well by Alex McCarthy.

Will Liverpool make a move for Conor Coady in January - and if so, what fee would they have to offer Wolves to make the deal, given that he signed a five year contract in September? Discuss...

Into the last 10. Ralph wants a free-kick but Adama Traore was just too strong for Oriol Romeu. It comes to nothing though.

  13. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 78 mins

    Wolves 1-1 Southampton

Raul Jimenez thumps a header into the far corner - but he's offside. Three Wolves players were offside at that set-piece which is something players are going to have to work on in the VAR age. Pointless.

Shane Long is on for the visitors.

In the last few minutes it has been coming. Brilliant strike from Raul Jiminez. Pedro Neto is onside as the ball is struck and he is alert and aware to pop it in. He just had to stay composed as it came off the post at some pace.

That goal bumps the Saints back down to fifth in the as-it-stands table. Raul Jimenez is now alive and wins a free-kick.

    Pedro Neto (75 mins)

It had been coming and Wolves are level! Raul Jimenez has been off his game all night but comes good when it matters.

The Mexican is found in a pocket of space just outside the area, rolls his man and crashes in a low shot which beats Alex McCarthy and thuds the base of the post.

It pops out to Pedro Neto, onside, to cushion in a side-footed finish.

Proper finale on our hands now!

    Wolves 0-1 Southampton

Pedro Neto comes on for Ruben Neves and nearly scores with his first touch, he's well found after another swift counter from Adama Traore and hits a low shot which is very well blocked.

Ralph Hasenhüttl spins round in his technical area. What a piece of play by Che Adams to put in Walcott. Theo is trying to pass it into the corner but gets a poor connection. That was the opportunity to put this game to bed.
