In terms of the overall game-play in the second half, if Crystal Palace do not come away with something I can see Roy Hodgson being very frustrated.

Eberechi Eze tries to shuffle past Erik Pieters but the Burnley sub stands firm to stop the winger and it ends up in a Burnley goal kick.

Nick Pope does well to catch Michy Batshuayi's low cross.

Not sure many people bar Gareth Southgate - and maybe Jordan Pickford himself - disagree with that?

World-class keeping from Nick Pope. Brilliant. He should be England number 1 as well as Burnley.

Nick Pope is fine to continue. We're going to have at least two added minutes of stoppage time here.

Nick Pope has come out flying like Superman. How has Christian Benteke missed that? But let's take nothing away from Pope. That was fantastic.

Burnley sub keeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell is looking very chill on the bench. No interest in warming up even though Nick Pope isn't up yet.

Nick Pope needs treatment after hurting himself while making that save.

Four minutes added on, although there will be more for this.

Wow, what a save from Nick Pope to save Burnley.

Palace send nearly everyone for a free-kick and Cheikhou Kouyate knocks the ball into the path of Christian Benteke.

Benteke hooks a shot towards goal from about six yards out and Pope throws himself off his line in a star shape to get his left arm to the shot.

Palace are putting the pressure on as they try to find a late equaliser. Christian Benteke tries to lay the ball off for a team-mate but can't find one.

Put the ball in early and let Eberechi Eze do his magic. They trust Wilfried Zaha to do the same thing. While Zaha is out, why not let Eberechi Eze do it? He has got the same thing in his locker.

He did it all last season at QPR. He was trusted with the ball and now we are starting to see that a little bit more as the game is going on - the confidence the rest of the Palace players have in Eze.

Eberechi Eze has been lively for Crystal Palace today and he draws a foul from Matt Lowton, who is booked.

A second Burnley goal would actually see Palace drop two more places down the table.

James McArthur is trying to send them up the table though - although his shot from outside the box is well over.

  17. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 84 mins

Robbie Brady is able to walk off but he is replaced - Erik Pieters on to see this game out.

When The Ball Moves: It can't be fair for some teams/clubs to have up to 4,000 fans in their grounds and some have none. A distinct (dis)advantage, depending on whose point of view you're looking at it from. It needs to be for all or for none.

Robbie Brady is injured again. Think they're costing him a better career than he could have had.

The physios are on to treat him.

A Burnley player takes a big risk and runs across his own goal - very un-Burnley play. It's cleared to Andros Townsend, whose shot is blocked.
