Couldn't think which proven premier league striker Sam could try and sweet talk into joining this uphill battle, but then haven't I just read Diego Costa needs a job?

Liam (a very happy Leeds fan in Kent)

I am really happy to see a Bielsa masterclass over a routine Allardyce show. Teams that go all out to play football? Yes please.

Man Utd v Wolves (20:00 GMT)

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Old Trafford

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed defender Victor Lindelof has been ruled out of tonight's game due to injury.

Lindelof was forced out of the draw with Leicester on Saturday with a back problem.

Not much recovery time for the Swede - and United are in action again on Friday.

    West Brom 0-5 Leeds

Seven of Leeds' 10 outfield players have either scored or assisted against West Brom tonight (Alioski, Harrison, Bamford, Rodrigo, Klich, Raphinha and Dallas).

    About a minute to go.

  7. 'Confidence will be high for Arsenal'published at 19:47 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2020

    Brighton 0-1 Arsenal

    Robert Earnshaw
Former Wales striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

If Arsenal see this result through it will give them such a huge lift. It's a similar Arsenal display to what we saw during the Chelsea game but tonight, they haven't been as ruthless as that game. If they get the win it'll be huge - confidence will be high after this.

    Brighton 0-1 Arsenal

One minute of the five in stoppage time played. Alexandre Lacazette runs it into the corner and gets fouled.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles has replaced Emile Smith Rowe for Arsenal late on too.

    Burnley 1-0 Sheff Utd

There's a break in play as Chris Wood receives treatment after receiving a blow to his face.

Burnley haven't had a shot this half but it looks like they will be taking all three points thanks to Ben Mee's first-half goal.

  10. 'Not much of a cutting edge'published at 19:46 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2020

Man Utd v Wolves (20:00 GMT)

    Mark Lawrenson
    BBC football expert

There is nothing wrong with Manchester United going forward but they were poor at the back against Leicester, which is why they didn't win that game.

Wolves have the opposite problem, because they don't have much of a cutting edge. I'm expecting this to be a tight game, but United should make their attacking quality count, eventually.

    Prediction: 2-1

    West Brom 0-5 Leeds

West Brom have a chance on the break but Callum Robinson tries an ambitious shot from long range and it's miles over.

Matheus Pereira has a go minutes later but his effort is blocked.

  12. Postpublished at 19:44 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2020

    Brighton 0-1 Arsenal

Brighton are pressing for an equaliser! Solly March's way is blocked on the edge of the box but it comes to Pascal Gross. He ends up smacking it straight into the stomach of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

    Burnley 1-0 Sheff Utd

Sheffield United continue to plug away but it's just not happening for them in the final third.

There's five minutes left and while that's enough time for the Blades to maybe rescue a point, they really need wins at this stage.

Simon: Aubameyang has been beyond woeful tonight.

  15. GREAT SAVE!published at 19:42 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2020

    Southampton 0-0 West Ham

Excellent save by Alex McCarthy as Said Benrahma pounces on a loose ball inside the box as Southampton struggle to clear a cross but his powerful drive from close range is blocked by McCarthy.

  16. Postpublished at 19:42 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2020

    Brighton 0-1 Arsenal

Emile Smith Rowe tries something a little too fancy in his own half and gets robbed by Dan Burn.

He can't take advantage but comes down the left minutes later to put a ball in the box for Solly March. It ends up bouncing off his side and away from goal.

  17. Postpublished at 19:39 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2020

    West Brom 0-5 Leeds

Stuart Dallas keeps the ball in play near the right touchline and gets a few yards on his man. He whips it in early and wins a corner, which Jack Harrison takes.

Branislav Ivanovic gets there ahead of Patrick Bamford.

  18. Postpublished at 19:38 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2020

    West Brom 0-5 Leeds

Just 16 games into the season, Leeds have both scored and conceded 30 league goals, the earliest a top-flight side has done so since Southampton in 1986-87 (30 goals, 35 conceded after 16 games).

They are just the fifth newly-promoted team to score 5+ goals in a Premier League away game, while only one of these has netted more than five (Nottingham Forest 7-1 Sheffield Wednesday in 1995).

  19. Postpublished at 19:38 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2020

    Southampton 0-0 West Ham

Danny Ings has had fewer touches (18) than any starter for Southampton so far, while he is yet to have a touch in West Ham's box.

There's been little to shout about in both boxes in this game in fairness. Dull.

  20. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 19:37 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2020

    West Brom 0-5 Leeds

Leeds' Helder Costa is on for Raphinha.
