I have to say, that is a surprise to me. A real surprise. That is harsh.

Brighton are in the ascendancy and pushing for that late leveller.

It will leave a sour taste if they end the game empty handed after that controversial penalty decison.

Southampton are heading fifth if they can hold out.

Rebecca Lake: Surely if it takes more than 1 minute for VAR to overturn a decision then can it really be a clear and obvious mistake.

Alphonse Rawlinson: To be honest not sure Brighton can moan too much about clear and obvious. Liverpool and Villa might feel aggrieved.

Colin Reardon: If it takes VAR that long it can't be "clear and obvious". Referee's decision should not be overturned in those circumstances!

You do sense there is going to be a moment. Something is going to happen, something is going to break for one of these teams. Brighton need it, they haven't won at home this season, and Southampton up to fifth if they win. Plenty of incentive in these final 20 minutes.

Even just 2000 fans has made such a difference, there's a bit of tension to this match.

The Brighton fans are willing on their side but Nathan Redmond flashes a shot over from close range. That was a real chance!
