Brighton have been the better side. they have been more aggressive and got to the ball first. Southampton have not found their rhythm. You just wonder if the manner of their defeat to Manchester United has affected them.

Southampton are struggling to create chances - but equally they can't risk throwing men forward against such speedy opposition.

There have been nine penalties taken in Brighton's Premier League games this season (five for and four against).

That's the joint-most in the competition with Liverpool and Leicester.

Nothing doing from that corner for Brighton. The hosts are playing the better stuff at the minute and are preventing Southampton from finding some rhythm.

It was an important block from James Ward-Prowse. Lamptey is lightning quick over those first few yards.

James Ward-Prowse whips in a free-kick from the right but Yves Bissouma boots it clear.

Tariq Lamptey is off in a flash and, just like that, wins a corner at the other end.

He scored in injury-time penalty against Liverpool and he's scored the opener from the spot at the Amex to the delight of the 2000 home fans tonight.
