Brighton become the latest Premier League side to welcome back 2000 supporters after a nine-month absence for this evening's match.

On having home fans back, Graham Potter told the club's website: "Just the buzz of having people there. The increase of participation in the game, the noise. They bring another dimension.

“We hope that they have a really positive impact. I am sure the players will look forward to seeing them and playing in front of them. Fans are what makes football ultimately."

Danny Ings' return to training last week was a huge boost for Southampton heading into a demanding festive schedule.

Ings has missed over a month of action with a knee problem, last featuring in his side's 4-3 win at Aston Villa on 1 November.

It's been one win, one draw and one defeat for Saints in his absence - but is he fit enough to return tonight?
