Kilmarnock manager Alex Dyer: "We were well organised in the first half but it went the opposite way after half time. We switched off at key moments and we got punished. We could have been 4-0 down after first 10 minutes of the second half, easy.

"It's a mental game and we were weak in the second half. We didn't show personality or character."

And what about selection for the cup final next week?

"I think I should show a bit of loyalty to the boys who have been there, done that, got us there," says Neil Lennon, who admits there will be some tough choices.

"It's an important game to finish off last season and it's a game we want to win."

Neil Lennon also has words of praise for Shane Duffy, who crashed in the second goal with a header from a corner.

"He's been through a tough time, with a lot of criticism," the Celtic boss tells BBC Sportsound. "He's got our full support and we are seeing the fruits of that.

"Shane has that ability to go and attack the ball and I thought he had an outstanding game."

"That was a lot better," says Celtic manager Neil Lennon. "It was a good all round team performance. Dominant really, we looked strong.

"The last few games here we've been a bit anxious. There was none of that today. I'm just disappointed we didn't win by more.

"Again, it's small steps in the right direction. There is still a lot to do and there is still a long way to go in the season."

Celtic now have the rare luxury of a whole week off until their next match - and it's a big one.

Next Sunday we have last season's delayed Scottish Cup final, with Hearts the opposition.

A win would wrap up a run of 12 successive domestic trophies.

Back-to-back wins for Celtic and a first clean sheet since 1 November. Does that take some of the heat off Neil Lennon?

The champions are still a long way behind Rangers but the second-half performance was very positive and gives the manager something to build on.

Celtic move back into second place in the Premiership following a strong second-half showing.

Mohamed Elyounoussi and Shane Duffy provided the goals for a first win in three league outings after draws with Hibs and St Johnstone.

Neil Lennon's side are now 13 points behind leaders Rangers, with two games in hand.

Mikey Johnston sucks in a bunch of tired-looking defenders in blue before having a blast at goal from 20 yards. The ball sails high into the stands.

Mikey Johnston is on for his first appearance since January, the Celtic substitute taking over from Mohamed Elyounoussi, who is probably the top pick for man-of-the-match after an impressive second-half showing.

Ryan Christie looks like he's in behind the Kilmarnock defence but in comes Stuart Findlay with a well-timed sliding tackle.

A second double switch from Neil Lennon as he introduces Diego Laxalt and Tom Rogic and withdraws Greg Taylor and David Turnbull, who gets a congratulatory rub of the head from the Celtic manager.

Almost a second goal for Shane Duffy as the big defender again causes problems from a corner, glancing a downward header narrowly past.

Kilmarnock substitute Eamonn Brophy takes over from Nicke Kambamba for the last 10 minutes.

David Turnbull flicks up a nice cross with the outside of his boot for Ryan Christie to have a crack. The connection is not quite true and the shot rustles into the side-netting.

Mohamed Elyounoussi muscles Aaron McGowan off the ball to set up another Celtic attack down the left, Greg Taylor hares into the penalty area and his low cross takes a nick off a defender and scoots just wide of the far post.

Almost a response from Kilmarnock as Nicke Kabamba gets a touch on a corner right in front of goal but Conor Hazard is well positioned and makes the save look easy.
