    A Celtic corner is flicked high into the night sky at the near post and Danny Rogers fumbles almost on the goal-line but the ball breaks away and Aaron McGowan hooks it clear.

    What happened there? Callum McGregor hammers in a tremendous cross from the left bye-line and Odsonne Edouard meets it right in front of goal inside the six yard box but somehow knocks the ball back in the direction of his team-mate with the goal at his mercy.

    Not much to get excited about over the first 45 minutes.

    Danny Rogers made a terrific early save to keep out a Christopher Jullien header but the Kilmarnock goalkeeper has not been overextended since.

    Kilmarnock are getting stuck in and working hard to close the champions down.
