Some excellent random pointing and shouting by Leander Dendoncker as he attempts to move attention away from himself after an absolute gobbler of a shot. He seems to stub his foot into the ground on the edge of the area as he connects with the ball, skewing it well wide.

United try a quick attack as Edinson Cavani sprays the ball out left and Anthony Martial tries a quick cross into the box but Nick Pope gets there before an attacker.

Good defending by Ben Godfrey as he holds off Pedro Neto by the corner flag, shielding the ball as it rolls out of play for a goal kick.

Don't often hear people say 'crumbs' these days.

Burnley 0-0 Man Utd

The VAR decision is... NO GOAL.

Harry Maguire gets above Erik Pieters fairly (maybe) but then catches the Burnley player in the back with his knee.

It was a great header though.

We had a lively 20 minutes or so here in which both sides scored but things have calmed down considerably in the last 10 minutes or so. Nothing to trouble either goalkeeper as half-time approaches.

Harry Maguire has headed Manchester United into the lead... actually no he hasn't.

He gets a brilliant header across Nick Pope from a tight angle but he fouled a defender to get up to the ball.

Right idea by Ruben Neves as he lifts the ball over the Everton defence for Nelson Semedo to run onto but Neves puts a bit too much power in it and the ball goes behind for a goal kick.

Now Robbie Brady whips a free-kick in from deep which is just wide of the post. If any Burnley player had got a touch there they would have been in goal town.

Kevin Friend makes his verdict after a long delay.

United's Luke Shaw is booked for his studs-up challenge on Johann Gudmundsson's shin.

That means Robbie Brady's yellow card is removed (and he won't be getting sent off either) because that incident 'never happened'.

I don't think Luke Shaw can make a challenge like that without there being some sort of follow through motion but I think he does keep his foot there. We could potentially be looking at a red card here definitely.
