Tonight is a good opportunity for Gareth Bale to go and showcase his talent. We know he has got bundles of ability but he just has to get back to the level that he was at, which I think will be difficult. But I still think Bale has a lot to offer this Tottenham team.

Lucas Moura has a dig from outside the box when the smarter option might have been to look for a team-mate - Erik Lamela was in space on the opposite side of the box.

Wycombe break well through Admiral Muskwe and Fred Onyedinma but the attack fizzles out.

Gareth Bale took a great first touch and you're thinking edge of the box, with his technique, he won't miss - but he drags it wide. Another good opportunity for Bale. You fancied him to hit the target from there.

Another good chance for Gareth Bale, in that pocket on the edge of the area he loves to strike them from.

It just opens up for the on-loan Real Madrid forward but he fires narrowly wide with his left foot from 25 yards. Just finding his range, the Welshman.

Wycombe are holding their own and think they've won a corner through Admiral Muskwe, but it came back off the Chairboys striker after hitting Davinson Sanchez.

Spurs need to stay alert to that threat.

One thing you have to do against Wycombe is compete. These Tottenham players have to compete because it's going to be route one. They try and get it up to the front men and get the second balls. Tottenham have done well but Wycombe will keep delivering those balls into the box.

Here come Spurs again, with Lucas Moura bursting into the box on the left.

The Brazilian beats his man and looks to drive a ball into the box, but it's well cut out.

Tottenham have started really well, on the front foot. Harry Winks and Moussa Sissoko are getting forward - and they're supposed to be the holding midfielders. Good start from Spurs so far.

Admiral Muskwe gets across the front post to flick a header goalwards and Joe Hart has to be alert to dive across and tip it behind.

Good chance for the hosts.

Spurs look like they mean business.

A lot of it is coming down their left, with Carlos Vinicius holding the ball up well and finding Ben Davies this time. Wycombe recover well.

That was a great opportunity for Tottenham. It was a great ball in from Lucas Moura and a free header for Gareth Bale but he gets the execution all wrong. Big opportunity that Bale should be scoring.
