Jack Tanner: Gonna be difficult for Big Sam to pull this one off. The previous sides he's saved were underperforming when he took over, this WBA side aren't doing much worse than they should be.

Steven Patrick McNamara: West Brom making an awful Fulham side look like Bayern Munich. Bilic was a better option than this dross. Lets not forget he was the last manager to take a point off Guardiola

Luke Candler: It was really time for Loftus-Cheek to leave Chelsea before but if they don't give him a chance after how well he's done for Fulham this season he just has to find a new club

Four players have had more than 40 touches so far - City's back four. They're all basically playing in midfield.

  3. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 15:34 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2021

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Wolves

Nelson Semedo curls it into Willian Jose. He flicks it on nicely for Leander Dendoncker but it boucnes off him dangerously before Vicente Guaita gobbles it up.

Palace immediately go on the attack and there's a penalty appeal as Wilfried Zaha goes down under contact from Conor Coady. He got the ball first so nothing in it.

  4. 'City's tactical changes'published at 15:32 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2021

    Man City 1-0 Sheff Utd

    Rob Green
Former England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

When Sheffield United get some passes together, they are committing bodies forward.

But, as soon as the ball is turned over, Manchester City really press hard and the whole momentum changes. They've changed tactically to make it really difficult for their opposition to score against them and it's working really well for them.

West Brom players keep passing on the responsibility.

The quality's not there. They need to get into this game.

It's just been described as a "steady game" on commentary. In other words, nothing much is happening.

  7. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 15:30 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2021

    West Brom 0-1 Fulham

Ademola Lookman does well to get a shot off as he is falling under a challenge but Sam Johnstone saves well. There's a quick check by VAR for a possible penalty, Scott Parker is convinced it is one but VAR isn't.

  8. Sheff Utd not playing the percentagespublished at 15:29 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2021

    Man City 1-0 Sheff Utd

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport at the Etihad Stadium

On a recent Sheffield United attack, Jayden Bogle cut inside not that far from the City penalty area.

He rode a challenge when he could easily have gone down and earned his side a free-kick and a chance to get some bodies up and put the hosts under pressure.

Instead, he stayed on his feet, lost the ball and Chris Wilder's side had to do another lengthy spell of defending.

It was honest play from Bogle but I'm not sure it was the right choice.

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Wolves

Joao Moutinho's corner is just over Willy Boly's head and it somehow bounces in the six-yard area, before rolling all the way through for a goal kick.

Really good cross but there was nobody there. Moutinho can't believe it!

  10. 'Johnstone did well'published at 15:28 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2021

    West Brom 0-1 Fulham

    Dion Dublin
Former Man Utd striker on BBC One

After seeing him score the first one I though Decordova-Reid would've got number two.

Keeper did really well though, narrowed the angle.

  11. Postpublished at 15:28 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2021

    Man City 1-0 Sheff Utd

A potentially good attack by Sheffield United with Oliver Burke feeding Rhian Brewster, who slows things down as team-mates get forward, but they end up losing the ball.

  12. 'He's not injured'published at 15:26 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2021

    West Brom 0-1 Fulham

    Dion Dublin
Former Man Utd striker on BBC One

It's very rare you get a manager making a change this early.

Was he injured? He didn't look it.

  13. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:26 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2021

    West Brom 0-1 Fulham

Sam Allardyce is going early with what appears to be a tactical switch as Dara O'Shea is replaced by forward Karlan Grant. West Brom definitely need something more in the final third.

  14. ouch!

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Wolves

Nelson Semedo comes in sharply on Luka Milivojevic. Nothing wrong with it according to the referee, who was right in front of the challenge. Milivojevic is feeling it though and will get a little bit of treatment. Should be okay.

  15. Postpublished at 15:26 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2021

    Man City 1-0 Sheff Utd

Sheffield United are penned in. Jayden Bogle finally wins a duel with Bernardo Silva and then just lofts the ball down the pitch to a City player - and the hosts go again.

Relegation for WBA if they don't win today.

With no disrespect intended to either West Brom or Sheffield United, who look doomed, this relegation battle looks like a fight between Brighton and Fulham for the last place.

    West Brom 0-1 Fulham

West Brom have not had an attempt on goal yet with Fulham doing all the attacking.

Antonee Robinson wins a corner for the visitors when his shot is blocked but Ademola Lookman's delivery is headed away.

Fulham look confident and a side with belief they can escape the drop. West Brom look the opposite.

Sheffield United midfielder Oliver Norwood is booked for a foul on Phil Foden about two minutes ago. The referee let play go on and City have had possession since then - but it's out of play now.

  20. 'Looking poisonous'published at 15:23 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2021

    Man City 1-0 Sheff Utd

    Rob Green
Former England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

Manchester CIty are ticking smoothly at the moment. They're looking poisonous at the moment - so slick with their movement off the ball.

You'd hate to be a wingback for Sheffield United at the moment. One moment you're marking one person and the next you've got three to look after.
