  1. 'This depends on which Liverpool turn up'published at 17:13 Greenwich Mean Time 20 February 2021

    Jermaine Jenas
Ex-Tottenham and Newcastle midfielder on BBC Radio 5 live

Liverpool have been so indifferent and difficult to predict what type of team will turn up. It is no doubt their win in midweek will give them a lot of confidence but Everton are a team who have been in a similar situation.

There is no doubt this game is as evening matched as it has been in years.

It is difficult to call, it depends on which Liverpool side turn up.

  2. Ancelotti resists temptationpublished at 17:10 Greenwich Mean Time 20 February 2021

    Liverpool v Everton (17:30 GMT)

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Anfield

Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti must have been sorely tempted to start his most dangerous forward, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, and influential Brazil midfield man Allan but clearly does not feel they are quite up to it after hamstring injuries.

Heavy weight of responsibility now falls on James Rodriguez and Richarlison to provide the big threat - and somehow get Everton's first win at Anfield since 1999.

  3. 'The lads did amazing'published at 17:08 Greenwich Mean Time 20 February 2021

    Burnley 0-0 West Brom

    West Bromwich Albion

West Brom defender Kyle Bartley: "I need to see it [the red card] again, I thought it was harsh, it was a long way from goal. But the lads did amazing with 10 men, we were the better team and it's something to be proud of. We had by far the best chances, on another day we take one and come home with three points.

"We can take a lot of confidence from the game. If we keep performing like that there's every chance we can get out of trouble."

  5. 'Allardyce has done a decent job, but not enough'published at 17:03 Greenwich Mean Time 20 February 2021

    FT: Burnley 0-0 West Brom

    Pat Nevin
Former Everton and Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

Let's not bother with the first half apart from the sending off and there should've been a penalty for Burnley but West Brom wouldn't have deserved that.

If West Brom had played like that all season they wouldn't be where they are right now - Sam Allardyce has done a decent job but it looks like it won't be enough.

  7. 'The worst I've seen us in a while'published at 17:00 Greenwich Mean Time 20 February 2021

    Burnley 0-0 West Brom

    Burnley

Burnley defender James Tarkowski: "You'd expect us to be disappointed, but if anyone sees the second half that's a good point - it's the worst I've seen us in a while. You'd think we had 10 men, so we take the point. We were not as organised as we should be and we had to stick in the game. The only positive is that we didn't get beat.

"We have a very thin squad at the moment which is tough but there's no excuse. The amount of times we gave the ball away, we were not good enough. They were there for the taking with 10 men but we didn't create anything."

  8. No bore draw in the derbypublished at 16:58 Greenwich Mean Time 20 February 2021

    Liverpool v Everton (17:30 GMT)

    Dion Dublin
Former Man Utd striker on Final Score

It should be a brilliant game. I can’t see it being a bore draw.

I can see this one being a very attacking game with goals, both managers on the touchline shouting and screaming at their players to get forward to play the right way.

This is a derby and both teams need the points, not for their place in the table but for their confidence.

I'll stay tuned to bring you the reaction from Turf Moor - which will be VAR heavy, I'd imagine - while Shamoon Hafez here whizzes you across to Anfield for the big one.

West Brom much the better side, with 10 men. But does a point do them any good?

The trouble with having all matches televised and all at different times is that people get to see how many are pretty dull affairs. Expecting 4:3 thrillers with 40 shots five times a day is just unrealistic.

Brave goalkeeping from Nick Pope, sliding out to meet Okay Yokuslu and that's a hefty collision. The England man came out the better there.

Moose: Actually laughing out loud at how bad this game is. Family have been in hysterics a few times. Ridiculously bad.

Yemi: Have you seen Levante vs Grenada? It is just as bad, every league has these kinds of games

Akinpelu: With a one-man advantage, Burnley have actually been abject in the 2nd half. You'd think they are the one hanging in for a point

Mark: How are WBA not ahead? Their strikers couldn’t hit water if they fell out of a boat. Big Sam must be having kittens.
