Manchester City started out by far the better side and it was criminal to concede so early.

Arsenal got into the game, and as City didn't take their chances, Arsenal got more confidence.

Terrible start to the half by Arsenal, a strong opening 20 minutes from City but it levelled out more as the half wore on.

Granit Xhaka puts pressure on Ilkay Gundogan as he tries to clear it but he's penalised for a high boot.

Thomas Stockting: KT and Saka combo looking very good down the left, even though KT is clearly not 100% fit. His final ball hasn't had the same quality as a few weeks ago. Only saving grace is that it would seem KDB is a little off the pace too.

Kieran Tierney is Arsenal's main (and only) outlet at the moment. Every single time he gets the ball, he finds or works space for a cross. Another one has to be dealt with by John Stones.

Moments later, Hector Bellerin gets the better of Oleksandr Zinchenko in the air and it falls for Nicolas Pepe. He tries to cut it back for Bellerin, who is preparing to shoot, before it's taken away from him at the last second.

Arsenal are now being brave in possession and getting a real good threat down the left-hand side because Riyad Mahrez isn't tracking back leaving Joao Cancelo two-on-one. Arsenal just have to be braver and quicker.

An Arsenal corner from the left is flicked on dangerously but Oleksandr Zinchenko is there to head it away.

Much better from Arsenal.

Bukayo Saka finds Kieran Tierney on the left. He puts it in early but John Stones gets there just ahead of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at the near post.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is caught from behind by Ruben Dias, after the City defender lost the ball. It kills the counter-attack and the Arsenal players aren't too happy about it.

Pep Guardiola is constantly shouting at the backline and in particular Ruben Dias and I'm just like "wow". He knows that goals win you games but clean sheets win you championships and he is at the backline constantly.

Kieran Tierney and Bukayo Saka are linking up well on the left. Arsenal are just starting to see more of the ball in City's half.

Saka finds Granit Xhaka but he forces his pass a little to Pierre-Emerick Aubayemang and it's intercepted.

Ilkay Gundogan's touch was with his right foot, rather than his left foot, and that just allowed the defenders to get back in and make a tackle.

Kieran Tierney curls a decent ball in from the left but Martin Odegaard can't control it at the back post.

It ends up bouncing off his shin and out for a goal kick.
