After the action-packed, slip-a-thon at the very start of the game, it has dropped a bit, with few clear-cut chances.

The home side's latest tame effort comes from a Raphinha free-kick that Ayling nods on, looping a header that is claimed by Martinez.

Leeds win another corner, which Raphinha drives to the edge of the box for Costa to fire a shot that is blocked behind.

The second corner is played short and Roberts dwells on the ball, allowing Watkins to pick his pocket and drive towards the Leeds goal before unleashing a soft shot that Meslier saves.

I'm writing Raphinha's name a lot. Everything is coming through him for the home side. His cross from the left is just ahead of Bamford and claimed by Martinez.

More pressure from Leeds but again not threatening to Villa. Raohinha finds Ayling on the edge of the box and he floats an attempted chip well wide.

More neat work by Leeds, this time down the right, sets up Klich for a cross, but he over-hits it through the box and out for a throw-in. Leeds have manage to work some good openings but have wasted them so far.

Leeds are looking for Raphinha whenever they can. He is in acres of space as the home side come forward and is eventually found by Bamford, but with a ball just behind him. He loses crucial momentum and, despite beating a man, allows the ball to roll out for a goal-kick.

To be fair, Tyler Roberts has been involved in an attacking sense too. He is found really well near the Villa box by Diego Llorente but snatches at his shot and fires his effort well over.

If others (namely Rodrigo) were fit, Roberts probably wouldn't make this side, so he needs to show he's the right man while he has possession of the shirt.

El Ghazi is the only one actually having shots here. He is found on the edge of the box and drives a low effort just past the post. Dean Smith has ticked the 'shoot on sight' box.

Raphinha is some player. His close control, running at pace is superb and allows him to beat a couple of men down the left before winning a corner.

The Brazilian swings the delivery in for Liam Cooper to head straight at Martinez, who saves comfortably.

Ahmed El Mohamady gets a ticking off from the ref after catching Stuart Dallas with a late tackle. There is a check on it by VAR but no further action is taken.

Nice little interplay in the box from Leeds sees Raphinha picked out in the box to lay the ball off for Stuart Dallas to fire wide.

The Northern Ireland international scored in the 3-0 win against Southampton mid-week so he is more than capable.
