I am just hearing that the Manchester United players have arrived at Old Trafford.

Gylfi Sigurdsson fires a free-kick towards goal but it is much too close to Emi Martinez, who catches easily.

Aston Villa win their third corner of the game. It's played short before Bertrand Traoré launches the ball into the box but it is over everyone and out of play.

It certainly feels like Villa are missing the presence of Ollie Watkins in attack. They are not getting players in those crucial positions when in and around the box.

It is Villa with the better attacks now as Keinan Davis is onto a pass down the left and he gets to the edge of the box before whipping in a cross but there's no team-mate there to get a shot off.

The security is very tight outside the ground. I have seen police tactical units, dog vans and there are extra layers of security. But even sitting where I am I can hear a demonstration outside the East Stand.

As far as I am aware the teams are not in the ground yet.

There have been reports a Liverpool team bus has been blocked into a side street and had its tyres let down but we are not sure if it is the actual team bus.

Bertrand Traore does well to stay on his feet and ride a couple of tackles before charging forward with the ball. He works it to Keinan Davis, who then finds Matty Cash but Everton get into their shape and Cash is forced to go back.

Anwar El Ghazi has space 35 yards from goal and fancies his chances but he smashes his shot well over.

Ken: If reports are true about Manchester United fans blocking in the Liverpool coach and deflating tyres it's going too far.

Lucas Digne takes no chances as he heads behind a decent Matt Targett delivery. The visitors fail to clear the corner and Douglas Luiz picks up the loose ball and crosses for Tyrone Mings, who heads just wide.

Best chance so far.

There's a break in play as Matty Cash is down and receiving treatment. After a couple of minutes he's up and OK to continue as Dominic Calvert-Lewin nods a tame header straight Emi Martinez.

Everton are looking the more dangerous side when they get forward at the moment.

Seamus Coleman is finding himself in lots of space down the flank and the ball is worked to him again but his deep cross is caught by Emi Martinez.

No: If Liverpool win tonight then the hunt is on...West Brom, Burnley and Palace their remaining fixtures. Chelsea with a big game against Leicester still to come.

Richarlison swings a great ball out wide to Seamus Coleman, who takes a touch before whipping the ball in hoping to find Gylfi Sigurdsson but Villa clear.

Photos on Twitter appear to show a Liverpool team coach has been blocked into a side street on the way to Old Trafford with the tyres reportedly deflated.

Our reporter Simon Stone says a demonstration has just started outside the ground.

It's noisy but the crowd is currently smaller than the last gathering.

Ross Barkley was very good in the reverse fixture, having been pretty inconsistent after a bright start to his time at Villa. He'll be hoping to replicate that performance tonight.
