Aston Villa v Everton (18:00 BST)

Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti, speaking to Sky Sports: "They have strong motivation for this. Most of them did not play European football in their career. It is a big challenge but a big opportunity also. We will do our best.

"We don't have a good memory against Aston Villa because we played so bad against them at home but we are confident because we play well away.

"We were so bad. I am sure if I say we will play better we will because we were so bad."

Aston Villa v Everton (18:00 BST)

Aston Villa boss Dean Smith, speaking to Sky Sports about having Jack Grealish back: "For all of us it is a big boost.

"He is a top player and to have had him out for almost a third of a season is probably a big reason why we have been so inconsistent.

"It is vital for himself to show he is fit and raring to go for the Euros, should he be picked."

David Melton: More hope than think LFC will make the top 4. Also concerned about the Salah->PSG stories. If LFC make the top 4 maybe Mbappe will move in the other direction (more hoping I suspect).

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says upcoming opponents Manchester United's schedule of three Premier League games in five days is a "crime".

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side won 3-1 away to Aston Villa on Sunday but a side showing 10 changes lost 2-1 at home to Leicester City on Tuesday.

"To play Sunday-Tuesday-Thursday is a crime," Klopp says.

Everton need a big run and others to slip up if they are to get into the top four.

They will be glad to be on the road because they have picked up considerably more points away from home - 36 compared to only 19 at Goodison Park.

Manchester Utd v Liverpool postponed after football fans protest on Old Trafford pitch

There will be a sense of deja vu about both of tonight's fixtures.

Aston Villa and Everton met in the reverse fixture on 1 May, with Villa coming out on top in that game.

Meanwhile, Manchester United's game against Liverpool is a rearranged fixture after the original meeting at the start of this month was postponed after fans broke on to the pitch at Old Trafford to protest against the Glazer family's ownership of the club.

Everyone and their dog will be aware of just how big a miss Jack Grealish has been for Aston Villa.

The midfielder has not played in any of their last 12 games, and Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti had joked yesterday that he hoped Grealish wouldn't rush back to face his side.

He said: "He's a fantastic player and I advise him, take care after a long injury! Don't risk it, stay calm!"

He's on the bench this evening so, fortunately for Ancelotti, he isn't being risked.

Chelsea could have taken a big step towards locking off the top four places in the Premier League to all other hopefuls last night.

    They didn't take it.

A 1-0 home defeat to Arsenal has left the door ajar for Liverpool, West Ham and Everton to make their move to sneak in.

Two of those three are in action tonight.
