England have had lots of possession and lots of opportunities but they have not been clinical. It's still only 1-0 and that's only a slender lead - anything can happen. Wiegman has been very vocal on the touchline, encouraging her players to get forward.

    England 1-0 Austria

England have only had one effort on target in this second half.

They've probably lacked a little bit of quality and precision in the final third, if we're being honest.

Credit to them. It looks a very, very cold watch.

England are really pushing for that second goal.

Lauren Hemp dribbles down the left but is well dealt with by Austria.

Fran Kirby drifts across to that flank too, but her cross is dealt with too.

    Second change for England.

Beth Mead is replaced by her Arsenal team-mate Nikita Parris.

    England 1-0 Austria

Beth Mead is having a frustrating day. She again takes a little bit too long, after being played in behind, and an opportunity is gone.

Fran Kirby then sees a cross blocked by the legs of Manuela Zinsberger, before herself being crowded out in the area.

England are pushing for that second.

Fran Kirby has been absolutely excellent today. Her close ball control again allows her to get through a few challenges but her cross is blocked behind.

The resulting corner is set to be met by Millie Bright but is just headed away in the nick of time.

We've not seen much of Ella Toone, unfortunately for her. Wiegman's got a lot of players on the bench who she can bring on and she's gone for Stanway who's very talented and versatile. She can play in a number of positions. She's come straight into that centre midfield role, but a little higher in that 10 role when they've got the ball.

Ah! England get a rare opportunity to break, and they have a few Austria defenders out of position.

They work a shooting opportunity for Beth Mead but it is a fairly comfortable save for her England team-mate Manuela Zinsberger.

It was absolutely bouncing it down with sleet a few moments ago too.

That seems to have stopped for the time being.

I didn't think it was possible but it has actually got colder here.

A late match report re-write is now my biggest fear...

  13. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 63 mins

    First change for England.

Manchester City's Georgia Stanway replaces Manchester United's Ella Toone.

She's only been on the pitch a couple of minutes but Katja Wienerroither is already in the book.

It was just a little tug back.

I thought it was a penalty. The first one she gets the ball, but then she has another go at Beth Mead. It's hard to tell from up here but on the second attempt I'm not sure she gets the ball. Looking at the replay she actually interferes with Beth Mead's left foot and that's what makes her go down. A penalty for me and the ref's got that wrong unfortunately.

First change of the day. The visitors replace Katharina Naschenweng with Katja Wienerroither.

    Refereeeee! Penalty, surely?

Beth Mead does superbly to turn Austria skipper Carina Wenninger.

Their legs get tangled, she clips her heels and her hand is on Mead's shoulder but the referee waves away the England appeals.

    Big call.

England have been slow at the start of both halves. They are lucky not to have conceded!

When the ball is in the box, England aren't clearing their lines straight away, they're allowing it to bobble around. You just need to put your foot through it in that situation and get yourself higher up the pitch so you can get back on with possession.

Beth Mead is fuming with the referee as she is adjudged to have fouled Maria Platter.

The ball into the box, from just outside the area on the right, is comfortably dealt with by England.
