Arsenal have started quite brightly, with Kieran Tierney looking dangerous on the left and Thomas Partey trying to dictate affairs from his holding midfield berth.

But one decent ball forward from Burnley then unsettled the Gunners defence and offered Ashley Barnes a chance to shoot.

I have a feeling Arsenal's defence are going to be peppered with high balls.

We all know the threat Burnley pose from corners.

Dwight McNeil swings over a cross after the set-play is taken short, with James Tarkowski rising to head over.

Norwich front man Josh Sargant is bundled over 30 yards out and the hosts have a free-kick in a decent position.

Tino Livramento has been one of the stars of the season so far.

The former Chelsea player likes to get forward and his cross from the right is headed away by Ruben Dias.

At the other end, Milot Rachica's cross is touched on by Teemu Pukki but Josh Sargant can't control the ball eight yards out.

If he would have trapped that, who know what would have happened.

Burnley are not working hard enough and allowing Arsenal to dictate the play. It is alarming.

Arsenal continue to dictate play, but Burnley are continually in the hunt for a break. They charge forward and set up a shot for Ashley Barnes, but he fires over.

Good approach play from Watford forward Emmanuel Dennis, cutting in from the left and drilling a low shot straight at Tim Krul.

Liverpool into their stride now. Diogo Jota finds a yard in the box but it is a tight angle and he fires his shot across goal.

If Pep Guardiola's plan was to get the Etihad crowd going today with what he said in midweek, it has worked. The home fans have not shut up since the game started.
