It is completely unnecessary from Cristian Romero. Tensions are clearly running high in this London derby.

Both teams have been disappointing in the final third, I know I keep saying it. Crosses are being cleared and the delivery has been poor.

It is hotting up and the tempo is increasing.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is having a go at Son Heung-min because he, Harry Kane and Lucas Moura are all coming to feet. There is no threat to the West Ham defence. As a midfielder I can understand why Hojbjerg is frustrated.

Another injury issue at Brentford and it's visiting defender Daniel Amartey who comes off worse in a challenge with Ivan Toney, receiving a bloodied nose.

Going to have to twist a couple of tissues and stick them up his hooter to carry on.

    Makes more sense now.

I thought it was Harry Kane but it was in fact Oliver Skipp.

Had it been the England skipper the net would most definitely had rippled.

Meanwhile, Skipp does get a touch on the ball this time but an effort from the angle is bread and butter for Lukasz Fabianski.

How did Oliver Skipp miss that? It must have been just slightly behind him, but he should be scoring that and timing his run a little bit better.

  17. CLOSE!published at 15:07 British Summer Time 24 October 2021

    West Ham 0-0 Tottenham

Spurs have gone out quickly in the second half and create a couple of half-chances.

Sergio Reguilon flashes a cross into the box which Oliver Skipp is inches away from converting.
