It wasn't the greatest of performances from West Ham but they found a way.

In the second half it felt like they wanted it more. There was more desire and they denied Spurs. Spurs had nothing going forward - they were just held.

How can a team with Son, Kane, Moura, Ndombele with a decent pair of attacking full backs not have a shot on goal? Spurs are dross. Nuno seems like a decent bloke, but my word his teams are dull

Brilliant, brilliant goalkeeping from Lukasz Fabianski. Makes his mind up early and comes hurtling off his line in injury-time to collect a high ball.

Spurs have the ball on the halfway line through Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg but the Dane passes it all the way back to Hugo Lloris.

    Going the wrong way lads.

  9. CLOSE!published at 15:43 British Summer Time 24 October 2021

    Good save, great bravery.

David Raya knows he is going to get a whack but still puts his body on the line to deny sub Ayoze Perez's effort on the stretch.

The Leicester man has come off worse though.

You've got to say the decision not to sell Kane looks poor now. I love him but he's so far off the pace, we won't get the same offers for him next year

Could Harry Kane be any less interested?

Straight after the goal, James Maddison is brought off and he trots to the sideline veryyyy slowlyyyyy.

There is a problem for West Ham now though because they are getting deeper. They are dropping back and you can't allow that because there are 15 minutes or so left. David Moyes is shouting to get higher and higher. You can't stop what you were doing because you're now leading.

  18. goal

GOAL - Brentford 1-2 Leicesterpublished at 15:33 British Summer Time 24 October 2021

    James Maddison (73 mins)

    Leicester back in front!

It is a delightful goal from the Foxes, an incisive break away.

Youri Tielemans slices the Brentford backline apart with a through ball which puts Patson Daka in on goal.

The Zambian is one on one with David Raya but is unselfish, rolling is across for James Maddison to tap into an open net.

That is the England midfielder's first goal since February.

Who else? He has been a little bit quiet today but he has come alive in the penalty area. Spurs didn't deal with th whipped ball, Oliver Skipp was at the near post.

Michail Antonio ran off the back of Harry Kane and it sort of just hit his knee and went in. That is a striker's finish though, instinctive.
