As we've mentioned a few times today the Women's Super League now takes a break until 6/7 November, but that doesn't mean the women's football stops.

Chelsea and Arsenal are in Champions League action in mid-week, with all the other sides playing in the League Cup.

It is then the international break, before the FA Cup semi-finals on 31 October.

You'll be able to follow all of that with us. See you then.

Here's how the WSL is looking after today's results.

It is looking good if you're an Arsenal fan, less good if you're a Leicester fan.

Leicester were impressive at Chelsea today, though, so they'll be hopeful some points are on the way.

Arsenal controlled the game, especially the second half.

They played with tempo and intensity and moved the ball so well.

Birmingham City pick up their first point of the season and deny West Ham a third WSL win on the bounce.

All over.

Arsenal continue their 100% start to the Women's Super League and they now have a three-point gap over Chelsea and Tottenham at the top of the table.

Last-ditch stuff as Birmingham hack clear two low crosses.

Surely that's that.

Everton have a late free-kick after Toni Duggan is hauled down.

Less than 60 seconds to go now. Attack v defence as West Ham pass the ball forward.

West ham have a half-chance through substitute Melisa Filis but the forward can't get a shot away.

Two minutes remain.

There will be three minutes added on.

Another change for Arsenal.

Viktoria Schnaderbeck replaces captain Kim Little.

Four minutes added on.

Can either side find a late winner?

As soon as that ball left Maanum’s foot you knew it was hitting the back of the net.

She was almost embarrassed to shoot from that distance – nobody closed her down. It was brilliant technique from such a young player.

Meanwhile, West Ham are piling on the pressure, but still no clear chances to report in Dagenham.

Wooosh! What a strike.

Sandy MacIver's clearance falls to the feet of Beth Mead and she carries the ball forward before sending an effort whistling just wide of the right-hand post.

Oh, close!

The ball is laid back to Jordan Nobbs and her effort is blocked, but the ball spins towards goal and hits the outside of the post.

The referee misses the deflection and awards a goal kick, though.

No real goalmouth action in the last five minutes.

Caitlin Foord has looked to get in behind the Everton defence but she was a mile offside.

If Birmingham hold on here they'll end a run of five straight defeats in all competitions.

They'll also jump up to 10th, a place above the relegation zone.
