    What a save!

Aaron Ramsdale is hugged by his team-mates after keeping out Mo Salah with a low save and then managing to pat the ball away from the Liverpool forward on the rebound.

Salah didn't strike it quite as cleanly as he might have liked.

    Liverpool 0-0 Arsenal

    Hello!

Mikel Arteta and Jurgen Klopp have to be separated on the touchline. What happened there?!

The usually stoic Arteta is furious... I think because of Sadio Mane's challenge on Takehiro Tomiyasu as they went for a header. There didn't seem much in it.

Both bosses find their way into the book. Both are still seething.

  3. Postpublished at 32 mins

    Liverpool 0-0 Arsenal

Alexandre Lacazette has the ball in the net following a slick Arsenal move, but Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was well offside from Emile Smith Rowe's pass in the build-up.

  4. CLOSE!published at 30 mins

    Liverpool 0-0 Arsenal

Aaron Ramsdale does just enough to keep Sadio Mane out!

It's a great delivery by Trent Alexander-Arnold that finds Thiago at the back post and he takes it first time on the volley, forcing Ramsdale into a save.

The Arsenal keeper cannot hold it and Mane slides in from close range, but Ramsdale gets his body in the way to turn it behind for a corner.

    FT: Watford 4-1 Man Utd

    Manchester United

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on whether he is worried about his job: "I'm working for and with the club, I've been here for 18 years and we have a good communication and if the club are thinking about doing something that's a conversation between us and not between you and me.

"The results are not good enough we know that - we went 30 games unbeaten away and now we lose two on the bounce, conceding four in both of them."

On his waves to the fans at full-time: "I feel for the fans and I feel the same as them, we're embarrassed losing the way we did. We are in a very bad run and bad situation but that's part of football. They'll support the team and whoever is on the pitch and sometimes you have to say sorry and that was a sorry for the performance.

"That's [losing his job] not for me to worry about - I work as hard and as well as I can with the staff I've got, top people, professional players but at the moment we're not getting the results.

    "I feel very low."

  6. 'We've let ourselves down'published at 17:58 Greenwich Mean Time 20 November 2021

    FT: Watford 4-1 Man Utd

    Manchester United

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "The positive reaction was too late - it was at half-time. Second-half was a good performance until we got the sending off. The first-half is the worst we've played and it's hard for me to explain why we played the way we did and allowed them to get in our box from nothing. The goalkeeper could go up to the half-way line and put it in the box - we were outfought.

"Very hurt - when you play in the Premier League you have got to turn up against good players and good opposition like this. The boys are in a terrible place in their heads now - we have let ourselves down and the fans down. It's hard to stand here and explain that but that's football and we have to take the flack for it.

"You look at the chances they created and the goals they scored, they out-fought us, they won challenges they won second balls. Nothing you would be surprised about them trying to do. I'm just disappointed we couldn't deal with it better.

On Harry Maguire sending off: "First yellow card is offside so it shouldn't be a yellow card, second one is a bad touch but we played well up to that point and created chances, scored a good goal. Donny [van de Beek] and Anthony [Martial] were really positive. For me, that shows the character. Two lads that haven't played they came out like we should've done from the start. That's the question, how does it take 45 minutes for us to start playing? It's happened often this season.

On feeling safe in job: "I've never said I feel safe - I will never say that I feel safe. I work for the club and with the club as hard as I can with a great staff and any conversation between me and the club is not for me and you it's between us.

"I'm the manger and I will take the flack and take the responsibility - the players are working as hard as they can. The fans are really disappointed I understand we all understand. They've supported us through thick and thin, they've been with us through this rebuild. We get to this season after finishing third and second and we sign top players, expectations go up and we've not had a result or the performances. They're right to say their opinion, I'm not surprised after a day like this because for the first-half we were way below what we can do and what we should do."

Albert Sambi Lokonga has to concentrate fully with Mo Salah running at him, and he does well to get a foot on the ball. Good defending.

Now Arsenal have a chance to break themselves with Bukayo Saka - he cuts in from the right but it's a tame left-footed effort that doesn't beat the first defender.

  12. Postpublished at 19 mins

Liverpool have been pretty sloppy in possession, giving it away more than you'd expect.

Bukayo Saka at the other end is already looking lively but cannot wriggle past Konstantinos Tsimikas.

  13. Postpublished at 17 mins

Oooh. Nice football from Arsenal and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has to stick a boot in at the front post to stop Bukayo Saka getting his head to Takehiro Tomiyasu's neat cross.

  14. Postpublished at 16 mins

Sadio Mane has spent a lot of time on the Anfield turf in the opening 15 minutes. This time it's because Alexandre Lacazette bundled him over, but the free-kick comes to nothing.

  15. Postpublished at 14 mins

Bit of a battle starting to build up between Takehiro Tomiyasu and Sadio Mane. This time the Arsenal man hauls down his opponent.

It's a dangerous, whipped delivery from the free-kick too and Virgil van Dijk is up, but can't steer his header on target.

Fabinho is pulled back by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on halfway. No chance the Arsenal skipper was letting the Reds midfielder escape there... Liverpool go left with Sadio Mane but again it is a loose final ball from the hosts.

Good defending from Takehiro Tomiyasu as he stands Sadio Mane up and pinches the ball off the Liverpool forward's toes. It came after a cheeky little no-look pass from Thiago.

First chance for Bukayo Saka to run at the Liverpool defence after Trent Alexander-Arnold's loose crossfield ball. The Arsenal winger drives to the edge of the box but there is not enough on Alexander Lacazette's return ball as Saka tries the one-two.

  20. Postpublished at 5 mins

    Liverpool 0-0 Arsenal

Ben White probably a little relieved there as he was the man who gave the ball away.

Don't want to be doing that too many times at Anfield...
