It's just fascinating to watch the contrasting styles of play. The way Germany are playing this game, they are playing it to perfection.

A superb half for the Germans. They hold a firm grip on Group B as it stands.

Svenja Huth volleys a shot on the stretch wide at the far post from the corner. Looks like there was a foul on a Spain player, though.

Spain need half-time to regroup here.

Giulia Gwinn is the German right back. She's playing at times like a forward. Her shot inside the box is deflected wide for a corner.

The game plan for Germany is working to perfection.

They have scored at key moments and they are really on top in terms of having controlled the game.

They are not bothered about possession, they’ll let Spain have it in the areas that can’t hurt them.

The German press really is something else. So dogged and determined. Spain with barely a second of time on the ball.

Germany are playing this game to perfection.

Keeping it tight, frustrating the Spanish team. It's a brilliant header. It's really interesting how they crowded the keeper following the mistake.

It has been something of a masterclass this in being clinical from Germany. They've seen little of the ball but they have been ready and able when their chances have come.

Spain have it all to do now to claw their way back into this.

Irene Paredes needs to be alert again to dive in and head away a cross from Lina Magull. It comes at the expense of a German corner.

It takes a lot of discipline to play a game like this, seeing so little of the ball but having to remain switched on.

Germany are coming under increasing pressure at the back, though.

Spain work a chance for Sheila, but she slices her shot over.

Oh, Spain are one telling touch away from a sight of goal.

Aitana Bonmatti finds the ball at her feet on the edge of the box and has a team-mate in space on her right. But her attempt to poke the ball through fails and Germany intercept and clear.

Mariona Caldentey’s awareness is absolutely exquisite.

In a crowded area, she knew exactly where her team-mate was.

Thirty minutes gone. This clash of styles remains fascinating and separated by a mistake from Spain keeper Sandra Panos and Kiara Buhl's neat finish.
