It's a good game. There's still chances for Leicester out there. They'll just hope it falls to Jamie Vardy.

Anon: Brendan was like that at Celtic lost 75% of their goals frim set pieces.

Charlie: I have no idea why people are surprised at Leicester's defence. Has nobody seen a Brendan Rodger’s team after 2 years. Same story.

Villa hit Leicester on the counter-attack but cannot make anything of it, and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is pleading with referee Michael Oliver to have a look at a tackle on him in the Villa box. He thinks he was clipped by Douglas Luiz, but there's nothing doing.

What a save from Emi Martinez!

Timothy Castagne's cross deflects up to the head of Harvey Barnes and the Leicester winger looks to have picked out the top corner, but a flying Martinez keeps it out.

Villa have had some big opportunities now.

Ramsey should be doing better, he was leaning too far back.

Leicester's turn to pile some pressure on, but Villa are standing firm. And now they can break...

Wonderful feet from Emi Buendia, who twists and turns beyond two defenders and finds Ollie Watkins, he shifts it on to John McGinn who then finds Jacob Ramsey in the box.

    But the youngster skies it!

Another great chance for Aston Villa and Ollie Watkins.

The hosts break at speed, with Watkins finding John McGinn and the midfielder threading a neat pass back into the forward's path.

Watkins just has Kasper Schmeichel to beat, but the goalkeeper is out quickly to make a smart save.

With the best squad that Leicester have ever had without question: the defending and inability to put in an attacking performance for more than 30 minutes is unacceptable.

Brendan doesn't seem to think we have a problem defending set pieces. I'd have a look at that a bit more closely if I was him.

    That was not far wide!

It's a lovely turn from James Maddison on the edge of the box, working some space to whip a left-footed effort narrowly past the post.

    Would have been some goal.

Harvey Barnes hasn't really been able to get into the game since the break. He receives the ball on the left but can't find a team-mate.

Barnes wins it back though and releases Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall down the line, with the midfielder fizzing a cross straight into Emi Martinez's arms.

Villa are pressing for a third.

Ashley Young gets down the left and the ball bounces around inside the Leicester box as Villa try to generate an effort on goal. In the end there are just too many grey shirts back behind the ball.

Oh, hello! Emi Buendia with a bit of showboating on the touchline, flicking the ball between his legs and down the line. Lovely.
