Man Utd v Southampton (12:30 GMT)
For this weekend's Premier League predictions, Mark Lawrenson takes on American Night actor Jeremy Piven.
United are still very up and down during games and we saw again in their draw against Burnley that they don't seem able to play well for 90 minutes - they only seem to manage it for one half at the moment.
I do think they were unlucky not to beat the Clarets, though. It's not even the case they are not taking their chances because they did that at Turf Moor, but VAR ruled two of their goals out. I can understand why Rangnick was so frustrated - especially at seeing Josh Brownhill's own goal disallowed.
United can argue the big decisions went against them but they should still be beating the Premier League's bottom side anyway. The bigger issue is I am still waiting to see a performance from them under Rangnick that tells me they are on their way, or up and running, under him.
They need one of those soon so he can point to it as an example of the levels they need to be at every time, but obviously he would settle for a win this weekend however it comes.
It will be interesting to see how United get on against Southampton because it won't be one-way traffic. I can see Armando Broja causing the United defence some problems and so will James Ward-Prowse with his set-pieces.
Jeremy's prediction: 2-2

Ronaldo has to play [every game]. He's a scorer. All this hype around Ronaldo being a negative part of what is happening at Manchester United, his record speaks for itself. You have got to play him.

Manchester United have been known in the past for doing what Manchester City do now - putting teams to bed by winning 3-0, 4-0. They just cannot do it at the moment.

You can see what Ralf Rangnick is trying to do. It is going to take time. Because he's not a permanent manager, I think that's difficult for the players to grasp.
Look, Manchester United have not been playing poorly. The moment they start games and start well they don't punish teams. And when you don't punish teams like Burnley in midweek, you give them a chance to get back into the game.
United are conceding, the confidence is low and there is pressure on them to win games.

James: Ahh, so I see that Utd are using today as a training session - playing Ronaldo to learn a thing or two from the greatest set-piece taker in the world. I hope Utd are paying Ward-Prowse for coaching them.

There was talk that Edinson Cavani had signed at the end of last season expecting a lot more game time this season, then Cristiano Ronaldo joined the club and his game time has been limited. If you look at it now it is fortunate he did with regards Cavani's fitness because he's not been available enough.
What he's always relied on it the fact he's been clinical, but that hasn't been the case recently. There was a chance against Burnley which he missed; he was a little lethargic and he allowed Nick Pope to save it. That certainly not something you can say about Cristiano Ronaldson this season or any season. He is ruthless in his finishing and that is what United need in their performances.

Former England defender Jonathan Woodgate believes James Ward-Prowse "could play for a top-four team" after the Southampton captain starred against Spurs.
Ward-Prowse supplied two late assists to help the Saints turn the game around and was in fine form throughout.
"He was absolutely outstanding tonight," Woodgate told BBC Radio 5 Live's Football Daily podcast. "He ran the show from start to finish along with his midfield partner Oriol Romeu.
"They were ordering where to go, setting off the press and showing the same intensity from the first minute to the 90th.
"And those crosses were absolutely begging to be headed in. On this evidence he could easily play for a top-four team."
The 27-year-old has played nine times for England and signed a new contract at Southampton last August.

Man v Southampton (12:30 GMT)
Manchester United interim boss Ralf Rangnick needs his side to be "ruthless" when they're in control, according to former Everton midfielder Leon Osman.
United dominated the first half against Burnley, taking the lead and having two goals disallowed, before the Clarets fought back in the second half.
"In the first half, they attacked at will," Osman told BBC Radio 5 Live's Football Daily podcast. "Pogba and Fernandes were playing off shoulders and they looked good.
"But when United are on top they don't finish games off. Rangnick needs them to be ruthless when they are in control.
"If you give the opposition chance to regroup, you'll see a different game - 90 minutes is a long time to try and control a football match."

Manchester United boss Ralf Rangnick had nothing to say about reports some of his training sessions are "old-fashioned," saying he hasn't read the newspapers.
ESPN reported players having jokingly likened assistant Chris Armas to Ted Lasso, the American coach in a comedy show about fictional side AFC Richmond.
Rangnick, though, is adamant his methods are working, saying "the way the team has developed is obvious tactically and is due to the work we are doing in training and video analysis."
He highlights the small-sided training games and rondo sessions they have been doing to "increase fluidity and get better in possession of the ball."
"The players have realised there has been a good development in the last couple of weeks, both in and out of possession. They realise that we controlled the game," he said.
He is now urging the team to keep their cool in matches, even if they don't take all the chances they are creating.
"If we concede a goal against Middlesbrough or Burnley, we should just stick to the game plan and not lose shape or composure.
"We have to be aware why we were so dominant and then stick to that."

Five years is a long time without a trophy. It's really weird for Manchester United. It's a poor position Manchester United are in by their standards.
OK, it's time for the easiest part of any coaching job - the cut. Rashford, you're cut. Martial, cut. Lingard, cut. Shaw, you're gone. Pogba, cut. Jones, Bailly, Lindelof, all cut.

De Gea, Varane, Dalot, Telles, Fernandes, Sancho, Ronaldo and Cavani are the only players I'd keep.
