    There would be some who would have you believe that Manchester United are in chaos. Read any online message board (but don't... seriously, take my word for it, don't) and there'll be plenty on there saying the club is a shambles, ruined, shot.

    However, despite some iffy results and displays not exactly in keeping with what many would like to see, the Red Devils are a win away this lunchtime from moving into the Premier League's top four.

    I guess it's all relative, but for a club that sacked the manager they once saw as the man to build around for years, drafted in an interim to try and implement a style some of the players aren't suited to and were seven points off the top-four pace just after Christmas, that doesn't sound too bad.
