It's got that feel at the moment, that a goal is coming. Hungary keep driving forward and England can't keep hold of the ball.

It has been an alarming last 10 minutes. Gareth Southgate will be looking at changes.

Almost an hour on the clock. Still only two attempts on target by England who are getting ready to make another change.

England break and Harry Kane feeds Mason Mount, who looks to return the pass but it's cut out by Adam Nagy and the Three Lions have a corner.

This is better. Much more direct.

Bukayo Saka released the pressure valve for England with that fine run but it is still Hungary who look the more likely side with Zsolt Nagy and Loic Nego prominent.

Still this deafening noise from an expectant crowd inside the Puskas Arena.

Moments before Saka's attempt, Conor Coady was shown a yellow for bringing down Adam Szalai. The England defender didn't mount much of a defence with the referee. Coady accepts his punishment and carries on. No-nonsense from the Wolves man.

What a run from Saka. Exactly the situation he thrives on. Kane made the run on the outside of him, but maybe he should have stayed central for a cross? Maybe he does just draw the eye of the defender but it didn't look like Saka needed any help.

Bukayo Saka is not hanging about.

The substitute drives at Hungary's defence. They back off, which allows the Arsenal man to get a shot away.

Saka is only denied by Peter Gulacsi's leg.

Much more positive by England.

Clever header. A really good knock back into Zsolt Nagy. He is allowed to arrive on the edge of the 18-yard box to see if the ball drops his way. That one does and he hits it cleanly, almost skipping along the surface. Only about a foot wide in the end.

That's close!

A cushioned header falls into the path of Zsolt Nagy who is lurking on the edge of the box and he unleashes a terrific shot which flashes just wide.

Bukayo Saka is very versatile. He plays most of his football for Arsenal on the right side, high up. But he is going to play that left wing-back role here.

Is James Justin injured? It's a disappointing end to his debut if so. He needed treatment for a knock in the first half before carrying on. A real shame as he was one of England's positives in the opening 45.

England get the game back under way with Bukayo Saka on for James Justin.

The teams are heading back out for the second half and England are going to make at least one change.

David Renouf: Five at the back against Hungary, Gareth Southgate is so dull with his tactics. He will cost this talented squad success.

Karl Gostling: Every time the ball goes to Mason Mount the move breaks down. Was the same in the Euro 2020 final. The guy is just not good enough for international football.

One of the biggest scares for England in the first half was Adam Szalai's long-range attempt that almost embarrassed Jordan Pickford, which went just wide.

Opta have had another look at it and say it came from 49 yards out.

Maybe Hungary have looked more of a goal threat than England when you look at the chances. It has been an evenly-balanced game. England maybe looking a bit more dominant in possession and more in control.

But at the end, Harry Kane was picking the ball up near to where Harry Maguire's position is - a sign of how deep he has had to come and get the ball. England need to look at that and play those progressive passes to get higher up the pitch.
