Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel speaking with Sky Sports: "There were a lot of questions we had to answer. Creating chances was hard, it became tougher and it was very important not to concede to have the chance to win it. It was a brilliant end.

"The pass was excellent and [Kai Havertz's] control and finish was outstanding.

"Kai works hard in every game. With he kilometres he's running, to have the ability to finish it like this at the end of the game was what we needed - a moment of pure quality to win it."

On Kai Havertz's challenge on Dan Burn: "I know Kai and think he would never intend to hurt an opponent. I didn't see it, so better not to comment, but if he got lucky then I accept that."

On travel arrangements for Chelsea's Champions League match in Lille on Wednesday: "We love football and what we do. If we have a plane we will go by plane. If not then by train, or by coach. If not I drive a seven-seater. Whatever happens, we will be there.

"I know the matter is more important, I am joking, of course, but we need to have hope and stay confident. It is a massive club and I hope there will be a light at the end of the tunnel."

On the club's future: "There is not much news but hopefully the sale will come. I am not a person who worries too much. It is important to set the spirit and show that spirit for everyone working at Stamford Bridge and at [the training ground in] Cobham.

"It is not just the first team. Others worry much more and for them it's important we show fighting spirit. Unfortunately, we cannot influence the situation, but that gives us the chance to put it aside and focus on the things we can influence."

Richard Browne: Ramsdale is so far beyond Pickford only Southgate could pick the latter.

Newcastle United

Newcastle's Jacob Murphy speaking to Sky Sports about his penalty shout: "In real time it felt like my shirt was getting pulled off my back [by Trevoh Chalobah] so it was annoying that we didn't get the decision. But there is nothing we can do now and we move on."

On Kai Havertz's challenge on Dan Burns: "Dan's a big boy. Your arm has to be high to catch him like that, but again the decision has not gone our way.

On the club's nine-match unbeaten run: "We have been on a good run - that's come to an end but have got to start a new one now.

"We are hunting the pack in front of us in the table. There is real belief in the dressing room. Everyone is on cloud nine because we know the squad we have and what we can achieve."

MattRBennett: Arsenal definitely embracing the dark side under Arteta. Lots of time wasting, fouls and dives. Referees should stamp this out more - early yellows and let's see them risk a red for a roll on the floor.

If you can't defend set-pieces, which Leicester have struggled to do all season, you are going to end up conceding goals.

The defending from corners has been a big let-down.

I don't know what they are trying to do.

The whistle goes for half time and Arsenal have the lead, but Leicester finished the first half strongly.

Arsenal have a good shape and no one from Leicester is making the runs in behind.

That is where they miss the likes of Jamie Vardy. Even though he won’t touch the ball much in games he will make lots of good movements and keep Ben White and Gabriel occupied.

Paul: I wish they’d start punishing play acting. I call it out when it’s my team just as I did with Gabriel earlier (that was pathetic) and fans of other teams should call out their players when theirs do it. But it does need properly punishing. It’s embarrassing.

Alexandre Lacazette clips Marc Albrighton as the Leicester midfielder breaks forward. Leicester have a free kick midway inside the Arsenal half and James Maddison sends it into the area for Caglar Soyuncum who shins it over.

Cedric takes no chances as he heads behind James Maddison's excellent whipped ball into the box.

Arsenal may have expended a far bit of energy after making a full throttle start to this game and they are the side having to try and get the ball off Leicester now.

It is a fantastic save from Aaron Ramsdale. It is top drawer.

He is pushing Jordan Pickford to be England’s number one.

Brilliant save and brilliant distribution. He is a top keeper.

Ten minutes to go until the break and Leicester, who have gradually been getting into this game, win a couple of corners in quick succession.

The second sees Aaron Ramsdale produce an outstanding save to keep out Harvey Barnes' header from Marc Albrighton's cross.

"Wow," mouths Brendan Rodgers.

Wow indeed.

In our day and age, someone like Alan Shearer would have give Gabriel something like that every game.

Come on, a big centre-half and he goes down like that. He has made a meal of that.

Gabriel is down on the floor. it is after he and Kelechi Iheanacho have a bit of needle in an off the ball incident, with Iheanacho flicking his hand towards Gabriel's face and it results in a booking for the Leicester forward.

Martin Odegaard is really growing into this game.

He sees passes not a lot of people see. Outstanding.

Alexandre Lacazette then has a go from way out for Arsenal. There's plenty of power behind the shot but it is straight at Kasper Schmeichel.

A couple of clever disguised passes from Kieran Tierney and Martin Odegaard as Arsenal bring the ball forward and work it out to Bukayo Saka, who has options but goes for the shot and it is blocked.
