Plenty of United fans are now heading for the exit. Get ahead of that traffic.

    Liverpool 3-0 Man Utd

Marcus Rashford gets in behind the Liverpool defence and is found by a neat pass. He turns and tamely fires wide. Not his night. Not any player in blue's night.

I know it has been said already this evening, but Thiago is some player. Some of his passes are an absolute joy to watch.

He is taken off shortly after banging out another cross-field effort to a standing ovation and a huge hug from Jurgen Klopp. On comes Naby Keita.

For the third time in five seasons, Fulham are promoted from the Championship.

This time they have done it with four games to spare, sealing their return with a 3-0 home win over Preston.

Aleksandar Mitrovic - obviously - scored twice, taking his tally to 40 goals for the season.

    Liverpool 3-0 Man Utd

Diogo Jota almost runs right through the heart of the away defence but is halted right at the last by a tackle from Harry Maguire.

It is just damage limitation now for Manchester United.

Liverpool are so well drilled in how they play without the ball. The energy has been outstanding. They are 3-0 up and absolutely cruising, but they do it without even thinking because it is so ingrained.

Charlie: Is it a coincidence that Liverpool’s front 3 have each scored one goal and assisted one each too? Or is it the result of work on the training ground, developing a style of play, and having commitment and football intelligence. All things that are lacking with United.

The gulf in class is astonishing. Liverpool are as brilliant as Utd are woeful

    Liverpool have their swagger back.

They almost set up Mohamed Salah but his touch in the box is heavy and a United toe pokes the ball away.

Liverpool are now the first club to score as many as eight Premier League goals against Manchester United in a single season.

Luis Diaz departs and on comes Diogo Jota. Not a bad swap.

It's a brilliant goal. Andy Robertson anticipates the pass, drives forward and plays the pass perfectly. Sadio Mane sweeps it into the back of the net.

It's magnificent from Robertson to win the ball back and delay the pass, then continuing his run to create that space for Sadio Mane.

David de Gea has absolutely no chance in goal.

I did think Liverpool had extra gears at their disposal.

That goal demonstrates it. United's threat was growing. Liverpool snuff it out.

    And that is game over!

Liverpool turn it on when they need it. They sweep through the field after Andy Robertson's well-timed tackled near halfway. Luis Diaz sets up Sadio Mane it fire a first-time low finish into the bottom corner.

Some signs of frustration from the home fans. They howl foul at the referee as Marcus Rashford sticks a boot in and is adjudged to have won the ball cleanly.

Jadon Sancho has given Manchester United a real lift.

He has looked to take control, he's looked to take people on, but he certainly can't do it all on his own.

  19. Postpublished at 65 mins

    Liverpool 2-0 Man Utd

It is not clicking in any way the same fashion as the first half for Liverpool. Part of that is down to United being a much more efficient side all round. The Reds have been sloppy too, though.

Neville mentioned it in the week and his reputation, but you have to feel for Rangnick, people complaining about him changing tactics at HT but you’re 2-0 down getting dominated of course something has to change. It’s all in the players that’s where the letter lies the manager can only do so much at the players don’t show heart they don’t have the ability for a top manager to a play a modern pressing game… have to pray for ten Hag really
