Liverpool are so well drilled in how they play without the ball. The energy has been outstanding. They are 3-0 up and absolutely cruising, but they do it without even thinking because it is so ingrained.

Charlie: Is it a coincidence that Liverpool’s front 3 have each scored one goal and assisted one each too? Or is it the result of work on the training ground, developing a style of play, and having commitment and football intelligence. All things that are lacking with United.

It's a brilliant goal. Andy Robertson anticipates the pass, drives forward and plays the pass perfectly. Sadio Mane sweeps it into the back of the net.

It's magnificent from Robertson to win the ball back and delay the pass, then continuing his run to create that space for Sadio Mane.

David de Gea has absolutely no chance in goal.

I did think Liverpool had extra gears at their disposal.

That goal demonstrates it. United's threat was growing. Liverpool snuff it out.

Jadon Sancho has given Manchester United a real lift.

He has looked to take control, he's looked to take people on, but he certainly can't do it all on his own.

It is not clicking in any way the same fashion as the first half for Liverpool. Part of that is down to United being a much more efficient side all round. The Reds have been sloppy too, though.
